1) Eligibility
Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent in any discipline from a statutory university with at least 50% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA. Candidates graduating by 30 June 2012, can also apply but must prove their eligibility latest by September 30, 2012. Those not producing the eligibility certificates as per the date mentioned will be disqualified / de-registered irrespective of their having joined the program provisionally.
2) Selection Process
Applicants seeking admission are required to have completed the CAT /MAT / GMAT for the current session. The score must be valid upto February 2012 or later.

Both the institutes you mentioned are good institutes to pursue studies, both of these institutes have good teaching faculty and infrastructure.
Some of the companies which recruited students from these institutes are:
IBM.
Axis Bank.

for take admission in PHD you need to have master degree and also give entrance test for any unversity , if you have valid GATE score and NET exam qulify or have MPhil degree then you are exempted from entrance test you can give direct interview for PHD , for PArt time PHD you need to do 6 month course work if you have not Mphil degree or you can attend weekend classes for your course work if avaible in university, If you have any research proposal then it is also an advantage at the time of interview becasue today many interviewr also see the proposal
