Well, instead go for a good IIIT, you stand a good chance there. Metallurgy isn't a bad branch but as per the present scenario may conclude that taking IIIT instead is always a better option. But the rank which you mentioned, you will get EE or mechanical in MANIT. So, fill your choices wisely.

Indian IT industry is in slow decline phase because of outcry against outsourcing in Western countries and increasing restrictions on working visas. Jobs are difficult to get if you miss campus placement. You will face lots of challenges to get job after BCA distance learning as there is no facility for campus placement for students who complete graduation or Post graduation by distance learning.

Even if you are considering a PG, you should be prepared to spend about 12 lacs or so. You can opt for a student loan option. USA, Canada, Australia and NZ allow students some time to find a job on completion of the degree. If you find a job and the company agrees to file for your work visa, you can stay back. Many European countries too support this.

Yes, provided you score well in at least one among the different entrance exams like CAT, XAT, CMAT and CET (cut-off generally is 85+ percentile). For their PGDM programs, you also need to perform well in their interview process. Whereas for the MMS program, a score of above 99.3 percentile in CET should be enough.

Both colleges have approximately same state of placement, the min. package offered is 3.5 LPA and max is 5.6 LPA and can stretch up-to 8 LPA. The difference here is location which depends upon the pursuer.
