Hi,
If you were planning to write the IIT JEE, as per the information bulletin, the last date to apply to the exam was 20th Dec 2010 and the exam is scheduled for April 10th, 2011.
Although you cannot apply to the exam as per the notification, but then you can always contact the institute to inquire about an alternate.

You should score good percentage in degree and show research interest then you can chose a topic and apply for Ph.D directly
Else do M.Tech in Aerospace and then do Ph.D

Hi,
1) If you continue to get backlogs in your engineering degree, then definitely it would affect your application, not only the scholarship application, but your admission application as well. If you just have backlogs in your 1st year, and maintain a healthy percentage, you can cover up the same by giving a false reason about you falling ill or a family uncertainty. However, you have to make sure to maintain a healthy and consistent percentage.
2) Since you have backlogs, you would be definitely required to score well in the GRE(preferably above 1300 atleast).

For Pilot you need to get Commercial Pilot License
You may pursue CPL training at the following academies:-
(a) INDRA GANDHI RASHTRIYA UDAAN ACADEMY , RAE BARELI.
(b) MP FLYING CLUB , INDORE
2. The training period is from 1 year to 18 months and the the cost of training is anything between 3 lacs to 8 lacs depending on the infrastructure and the category of aircraft you are being trained upon.
3. IGRUA is presently the best as it is getting a lot of governmental aid to bring it at par with international standards.
It cost 5 to 12 L
