Hi,
Well as you have clearly mentioned about your interest that you plan to work for a couple of years and then would like to take up Research, you can definitely go ahead with the same.
There are many Petroleum and Energy companies, from where you can take up a job and for this you may upload your resume on various job sites and await relevant responses.
As for Ph.D, there are many Universities offering doctoral courses and to know about the same, please go through the following link:

Hi Ramesh,
Opting for any particular course as per the options given by you would entirely depend on your interest and aim. Both the Masters courses are good and well known career courses but if you are keen to pursue a career in a more technical field, in that case you should opt for the MCA course but if you are more keen to make a career in more of a theoretical stream may be like Education and Training or Research, then M.Sc in IT are a good option.
There are many institutes in India offering the two courses and to know about the same you may refer to the following links:

Hi Ashima,
If you are looking for universities in Lucknow with the low fee structure I would suggest you to go for government Universities such as: Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, University of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh Technical University, etc.
Reason being that the Government Universities are comparatively low priced than other private or Autonomous Universities. The admission procedure would vary from University to University, but the eligibility criteria in most of the Universities would be a Graduation from a recognized University with 50% and above aggregate marks.
