ASP stands for Active Server Pages. ASP.NET is the next generation of ASP. After the introduction of ASP.NET, old ASP is called 'Classic ASP'.
Classic ASP uses vbscript for server side coding. VbScript is not supported any more in ASP.NET. Instead, ASP.NET supports more languages including C#, VB.NET, J# etc. VB.NET is very similar to vbscript, so it should be easy for old Visual Basic or ASP programmers to switch to VB.NET and ASP.NET

UPSC related jobs are advertised in the weekly newspaper "Employment News". I would suggest preparing as per the specific job requirement. Incase you are appearing for the UPSC exam you need to fill the form fast as thr last date is 21st March 2011. However, I suggest that you target this exam in year 2012 to get sufficient time for preparation. Otherwise you will not be able to study for your engg final exam. For UPSC exam try to join a reputed coaching institute and concentrate on studying elaborately. Enhance your GK and knowledge of current affairs. Read newspapers, understand the related policies of the Govt in different sectors,

Hi,
Once you receive an admission offer from a university, you will receive an I-20 document from them. On the basis of this I-20, you would be applying for a visa. The forms that you have to fill are DS-160 and SEVIS form. You would also be required to collect bar code receipts from HDFC bank. On the basis of these 3, you would be scheduling a visa interview.
Hope my answer has solved your query. If it has, kindly mark it as best answer.
