Well Political Science may relate well to your hobby of reading but least with the cooking part, but then on a serious note, if you are looking for a good career stream then there are various options available like you can write civil services exam if you are keen to pursue a career in Government services.
Other than this you can opt for a career in Mass Communication provided you have the zeal for it as it would require a lot of time investment along with hard work. Branding more over would come under Marketing in the discipline of Management and would again be quite different to your background.
I would advise you to analyze your career interests and based on which you may then decide you next step.

If you are planning to prepare for the prelims in the UPSC, this is now termed as the CSAT exam. The exam consist of two papers- General Studies paper and the General Aptitude Paper (replacing the optional subject).
General Aptitude Paper will observe ones aptitude towards a mix of sections like verbal reasoning, numeric reasoning, abstract, data interpretation, spatial reasoning etc.
General Studies is entirely focused on the reality around us from History to the present, from economy to politics etc. It deepens to the current affairs.

r u confidant in any of the Server Side Operating System? for what purpose u would like to do CCNA? wanted to go in network line? is that so? wanted to get good job in higher end? am i right? if u want to enhance ur career and knowledge as well why don't u choose RHCE. cos most of the Servers r running on Linux and then u opt CCNA u will be having career in only Network line. Cos Knowing LAN then u know about WAN will give u more advantage. After CCNA u will be only a network person if u do RHCE then u can opt System Admin or Network Admin or Security Admin as well if u have Database knowledge then u can be DBA as well the combination of RHCE+CCNA+MCSE will be good cos CCNA is 80% theory and 20% practical and RHCE is 100% practical after completing RHCE u will feel a lot of confidence as well.
As Cyber Crime is going high Security Specialist is going to be future. For Securing Network u must have thorough knowledge of Network and for securing data u must have thorough knowledge of one Operating System for that U must choose the OS which is running in Industry like Linux, for that u can opt RHCE & RHCSS (Red Hat Certified Security Specialist) will give u ultimate mileage for ur career.
