There are several ways to boost ones professional career. When it comes to advanced degrees, two great options are a MBA or an Executive MBA. Contrary to popular belief and despite being off by just one letter, the programs are not one and the same. Read on to find out the difference between an MBA and an e-MBA.

Choosing between a MBA and an EMBA may depend on your goals. Individuals with 10-15 years of professional experience may find EMBA programs to be more rewarding. This is because MBA curriculums are designed for individuals with less work exposure. A MBA is a great way to step up in an industry by taking on new roles and positions.

In terms of placement -
Yes, you get ample opportunities in every branch at Ghaziabad campus, as others have mentioned. All students are required to attend the placement procedure at main campus in Kattankulathur.
However, the opportunities may depend on your branch too.
CSE and IT departments indeed enjoy an upper hand in terms of the number of companies which recruit from the main campus.
Numerous CORE companies recruit students along with the major mass recruiters like Infosys, Wipro and TCS.
Mechanical and Civil departments somehow lag behind at placements due to less exposure at the Ghaziabad campus and many of my friends have not been recruited.
ECE and EEE departments too receive many core companies but a major chunk are recruited by IT mass recruiters like TCS and Infosys.
In terms of Infrastructure -The campus is expanding from the day I first saw it, that was four years ago.
The auditorium is a bit small.
The stadium is absent, there is just a ground in its place, no stands, no lights, no water drainage.
Basketball court serves mostly as Football court.
Academic block is just a building with separate floors for different engineering departments.
However, MBA department has now got its own separate campus.
The air conditioning in classrooms works fine.
IT Fests and cultural events are organized year around and for that infrastructure is enough.
Not enough sitting place is available. So, either attend classes, stand outside or sit in canteens, or better, go home or hostel.

As an educational consultant I keep an eye on the rankings, content, pedagogy and placements by various universities. Being an Instrumentation Engineer myself, I can say that without a doubt.

Coming back to your question, There is abundance of Scope in the Middle East and other Oil rich states. There are many Oil & gas, Chemical and petrochemical companies who hire Instrumentation Engineers and once you gain sufficient experience(5+ Years) you get paid also very well.
You can get into Designing of Plants, Maintenance activities, Or even into Commissioning of New plants.
This stream is sub divided into two parts. 1. Automation and control 2. Design and Detail engineering.
But one thing, as they say Every dog has it's day. Sometimes the IT industry goes into recession, sometimes some other industry. So now the Oil & gas industry is struggling a lot . Hence a lot of companies are laying off people and most of the projects related to New plants are on Hold.
So this has affected the Job market a lot. So everyone from Mechanical engineer to Civil Engineer who work in this field are affected and instrumentation people being an important Part of this industry are also affected.
So Instrumentation is a very good field for making your career and about the Scope, you know you really can't predict much.
