IPU CET Counselling 2017 - The counselling of IPU CET 2017 has started with online registration and paying the participation fee from June 13. The participation fee of IPU CET 2017 can be paid online or offline. IPU CET 2017 counselling is being conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) for admissions to undergraduate engineering programmes at the varsity and the engineering institutes affiliated to it. GGSIPU had postponed the registration date to June 13. Earlier, the date of registration for IPU CET counselling 2017 was June 9. The result for IPU CET 2017 was announced on June 2 for all B.Tech programmes, along with the result for B.Tech Bio-Technology.
IPU CET 2017 counselling will be held online which includes the process of online registration, choice filling, document verification and seat allotment for the candidates who have qualified in IPU CET 2017. Candidates have to register for IPU CET counselling from June 13, 2017 after paying the counselling fee online or offline. The counselling of IPU CET 2017 is being conducted in 3 rounds with open house and spot round. Candidates are required to attend the counselling of IPU CET 2017 on the basis of their ranks in IPU CET. Candidates need to fill the choices and submit their documents for verification before seat allotment.

If your interested to apply for this course then you should complete 12th standard in any stream from recognized university. You should score minimum 55% percentage of marks in 12th board examination. The Institution may also conduct separate entrance examination. If you're qualified in entrance examination then you may call for an Interview.
The admission for Journalism course is based on the percentage of marks in entrance examination. So If your score good percentage of marks in entrance examination then you may get admission for Journalism course in reputed colleges.

Yes, you can prepare for IAS.
This is the right time to prepare for and decide for IAS as well.You have enough time to prepare. But you can apply for the exam only after finishing your graduation.
Eligibility criteria:
- Indian Citizenship
- Graduation from a Govt. recognized university.
- Age of 21 to 30 years.
- If you are OBC and SC/ST category then you have age relaxation of 3 years and 5 years respectively.
You are in the first year so you have enough time to prepare for IAS.
Note: On this, my advice you is don't be in the wrong impression of having ample of time, so you will make out this easily. UPSC having hardly 1000 vacancies for all the civil servents of a different category. And every year approx 5 Lac candidates apply for it. So, wish you all the very best. Do well.

Sorry, you can't take admission in MBA after securing 40% .A candidate holding a graduate degree (at least of three years duration) or post-graduate degree of the University or of any other University recognized to be equivalent thereto by the University with at least 50% of Marks (45 % in case of SC, ST and OBC candidates) in aggregate in the Faculty of either Engineering, Medical Science,Agriculture, Social Science, Commerce, Arts, Life science, Hotel Management, shall be eligible for application for admission to MBA course: Provided that the following examinations shall not be taken as basic degree for application for admission to MBA course:
LLB, BJMC, B.P.Ed., B.Ed., B.Lib.I.Sc. As also any graduate degree for which the minimum admission qualification is a basic degree course of three years duration.
