You need to have completed your 12th board exams with subjects like physics,chemistry,maths and computer science. Do TOEFL or IELTS to prove your english proficiency. Taking up classes in regards to IIT JEE will always be a good thing as it will give a you more in depth knowledge about the subjects you will do in 12th and help you get good marks in the boards. But IIT JEE exams are not a pre-requisite to apply to an university in canada.
