Banking professionals handle clients money - In simplistic terms, they help individuals & corporates with their investments, loans and all other money related issues.
Ideally the job requires a postgraduate degree or diploma in business administration (MBA) / Economics / commerce or a Chartered Accountancy graduate.
You can also go for banking exams. A bank probationary officer is the starting level for class I officers in banking sector. The candidates are selected through written examination followed by GD and Interview. Probationary officers are trained to work in different functions such as admin, operations, accounts, marketing, finance, investment, etc. Thereafter candidates are posted as Asst Manager in any of the bank branches. Industry estimates suggest 20,000 to 50,000 PO vacancies every year in the first half of this decade. The current demand is like a dream come true for the government job aspirants.

There are various institutes offering hotel management course at various level such as: Diploma Degree Post graduation/Masters All courses have there respective scope ,acceptance , duration and fee structure. Ideally for a kick start of a career in HM, the basic requirement is a degree, that is generally of 3-4 years duration.
The fees ranges between Rs 2lacs to Rs15lacs, depending on the institutes and value addition offered.

To get admission into Retail management course you need to fulfill the criteria.
In order to pursue full time MBA or PGDM program you need:
- Graduation in any field with at least 50% aggregate marks to be eligible to apply.
- Then, you need to clear the selection process of the B-school, starting with an entrance test accepted by the B-School. For e.g. CAT, MAT, SNAP, CMAT.
The selection process in B-schools is generally based on:
- Past academic record
- Scores in management entrance tests
- Performance in Group Discussion
- Performance in Personal Interview
- Work experience
Each B-school shortlists candidates for the second/ final stage of selection, which may be independent of each other. The process may include:
- Written Ability Test (WAT)
- Group Discussions (GD)
- Personal Interviews (PI)
