Hi Parv,
You can practice dentistry in Canada. Foreign-trained dentists like in India apart from education, license, or experience, you need to have the Canadian licence to practice dentistry in Canada. For this should contact the Association of Canadian Faculties of Dentistry (ACFD). This career gives you many options to interact with people and helping them with their problem, you can open your own clinic, you can get into teaching, health care, community service, research etc.
Dentists working in Switzerland on a temporary basis (for a maximum of 3 months) in a self employed capacity (so-called service providers) are required to have

Hi Parv,
US does not recognize a dental license from India. The person must complete DDS from USA and be licensed through one of the boards (eastern, california, etc.) to be able to practice .Colleges which offer Advanced Standing Program (DDS/DMD) to foreign trained dentists require at least NDEB Part I. Most of the dental schools which offer this program require at least 83%.Foreign dental students can get into the Advanced Placement program of DDS wherein they join in the 2nd year of the program.
Typically, yearly expenses are in the range of US $ 80,000 to one lakh dollar. So, a two year program will cost US $1,60,000 to US $200,000.

Hi Rati,
If you feel like going overseas that is outside India you can go ahead with the course of your desired country. If you have got good management skills you can opt for hospital management courses provided by many private and government universities. You can get into research n get jobs in any pharmaceutical company or company dealing with dental materials. Business of dental materials, products and dental equipment and last but not the least leave apart dentistry and start up fresh for something new which i don't think is a great idea.

Hi rati,
As rightly said by Suni207 (One of our expert's) MBBS is found to be more preferred by many medicine aspirants owing to the range of specialisations available afer MBBS and the sky high limit of earning potential, but BDS is not too far behind with respect to earning potential these days when personal oral hygeine is losing its meaning.

Hi Rati,
Traditionally, those who do net get admission in MBBS, go for BDS. But now a days, there is a huge scope for BDS if you can have your own clinic with modern equipment.
Plain MBBS will not do unless you follow it up with MD/MS. If you compare salaries in hospitals, MBBS will always get higher remunerations compared to BDS.

There are a number of domain specific tools in CAE. I am qualified to answer on structural analysis domain since that's my area of work. Preprocessing - Hypermesh or Ansa
Solver - Abaqus, Ansys, Optistruct, Nastran, Patran, Radioss etc. A number of commercial codes are available. If I had a chance to go back in time and work on my skillset I would thoroughly learn Hypermesh first, since its the most widely used preprocessor. For solver, I would recommend Abaqus, one of the best and versatile code for design analysis considering the fact that you already have a touch of CATIA and Abaqus also belongs to the same family, Dassault Systems.
