We can say 60 years -65 years. In fact, actually. There are no such criteria. It is completely personnel and demand on the industry. I have to say, mostly majority will stop sailing by 45 years -55 years. This is one high remuneration field after 45-55 year, a B.Tech marine engineer will be well settled and financially strong. Moreover, after gaining good experience as a chief engineer, they can also switch their career to off shore jobs.

There are 2 tests at the WWI entrance exam:
One is the GAT, which tests general aptitude, general knowledge, analytical reasoning, etc. The questions there are similar to those that you would find in a top level B School entrance.
Second is the CAT (Creative Aptitude Test). This measures more right bran functionality and ability of the student to think creatively, test their observation skills and their understanding of lateral / tangential thinking.

Good evening Sneha,
The course is revised every year on the basis of the current market scenario. The faculty members are very co-operative.
It would always be a good decision to join ICBM-SBE if you want quality education.
The scope of other activities is limited, but the college always supports that.
Thanks & all the Best.
