Hello,
If you're not too confident about JEE Mains, you can appear for AIEEE. It also provides admission into government colleges, which are cost-effective.
I would also suggest you to appear for individual state examinations (OJEE in Odisha, EAMCET in Andhra Pradesh/Telangana, COMEDK in Karnataka, etc.). These exams also guarantee you good colleges and serve as a backup in case things don't end up the way you've planned for IIT/ AIEEE.

You should check for universities in US as they are the most generous ones for giving out scholarships. Check directly with the universities for transfer because every university has its own entry requirements and transfer policies. It does not matter where you are currently studying, you must meet credit points of the program and/or the university for transfer and admissions.
