Hi Anita,
That's a good question. In a MBA/PGDM course from any college, students with work experience will always have an advantage. This advantage will also help them in placements. However, that does not mean that students without work experience will not get good jobs. When recruiters come, they look at the student's overall performance in college academics, and they will select the student if they are impressed (even if that student does not have any job experience).

See, your rank is good & you should get MAIT in the upcoming counseling rounds. Talking about spot counseling, its little risky as there seats are alloyed on the basis of availability. If seats are available, you might get MAIT in spot counseling also. Last year even students with rank up to 1500 were allotted MAIT in spot counseling.

MBA is more of an American concept and the program requires the students to have more work experience. MBA courses in US have classes where students have average work experience of 5 years.
PGDM is what Indian students are more familiar with. You can start a PGD with or without any work experience. That depends from university to university. PGD also has more theoretical approach to teaching while MBA is more practical course.
Canadian PGD is a respected degree and should be beneficial to your career.

I dont think your experience shall stand valid, sijce experience post graduation is asked for. Secondly, If you want to be at manager level , go to premium bschools and full Time MBA is recommended for goodbsalary and lucrative career.E-MBA , part time or distance MBA is just not recommended if you want managerial roles that too in Big MNCs.

Hi Banti,
We at Amity Bangalore place a great deal of importance on placements. Quite a lot of companies and start-ups come to our college for placements. You can be rest assured that you will have a number of profiles to choose from. Seeing that you have 4 years of work experience, it will be that much more easier to find placements in the area of your interest. Besides, if you have any specific profile or company in mind, you can always speak to our placement coordinator regarding your plans. Be assured to get all the support you will need. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if there is anything else you want to know.
