Eligibility for the Master of Business Economics [MBE]:-
The basic eligibility for Masters in business economics is a Bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognized university with a minimum of required aggregate percentage. Most of the universities require a minimum of 50% aggregate marks however this may differ for various universities.
Students in the last year of graduation can also apply for the same.
How to get admission?
Basically, a student can take admission in different institutes by either merit list followed by group discussion and interview or would have to appear for the entrance test accepted by the university, again followed by a group discussion or a case study. There are different state entrance tests to be taken by a candidate to secure their positions, like-
- For Punjab University, one would have to appear for PU OCET (Punjab University Common Entrance Test).
- For Delhi University, CAT (Common Admission Test) will be considered.
- However, some colleges make a merit list based on 10+2+3/4 and conducts group discussion and interviews. Finally, a final call is made confirming the admission.
- For Delhi University, admission process starts in the month of October where the application forms are out and the final calls for GD/PI are made in March.
- For Punjab University, session starts in September and admission process starts in June/July.
- Usually the entrance test comprises of three topics, mainly, Quantitative aptitude, Reasoning skills, Verbal section. However, some institutes even includes economics graduate level questions. All the questions are objective type.

Both B.Tech CSE and B.Tech aeronautical engineering are equally good branches. Aeronautical engineering is a niche sector specific branch with limited job opportunities in Indian Private sectors. A majority of jobs for aeronautical engineers are in PSU, DRDO, ISRO and Indian Air Force. Where CSE graduates are employed by all industries as the computer is a facilitating technology in all industries. India is computer applications outsourcing hub with lots of opportunities for fresh graduates. Therefore, on the basis of opportunities and scope, CSE is a better option. But if you want to work on hardcore ever evolving cutting edge technologies then you must choose B.Tech in aeronautical engineering over CSE.

Qualification: Pass in class 12th, A Level, IB, American 12th grade or equivalent with physics, mathematics and English as compulsory subjects along with chemistry or biotechnology or biology or any technical vocational subjects as optional with a minimum of 50% marks taken together in physics, mathematics and any one of the optional subjects.
Admissions:
1. General category: Admissions are done on the basis of rank in the All India Manipal University Online Entrance Test (MU-OET) 2017.
2. Foreign/NRI category: Admissions are done on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
Note: Candidates can apply both under general and foreign/NRI categories. The change of category from foreign/ NRI to general after admission will not be entertained under any circumstances.

You are eligible to do B.Tech IT if you have physics, chemistry and maths as subjects in 10+2 stage. You are advised to appear for engineering entrance examinations to seek admission in B.Tech IT. You can appear in GATE examination to do M.Tech IT. The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an all-India examination that primarily tests the comprehensive understanding of various undergraduate subjects in engineering and Science. You will have to appear for GATE examination in Information technology.
You are further advised that you may also evaluate doing B.Tech CSE also. Syllabus of B.Tech IT and B.Tech CSE overlaps between 80% to 90%.
