Depends on which branch you are getting transferred. If you are doing it from CSE just for the sake of a good college, I'll not suggest it. Frankly, Industrial and Production engineering is something can be easily learnt and done after the graduation. It comes more from experience and exposure rather than Degree. Also, in GSITS, IP does not have a big name, so I'll not suggest it.
Best of luck.

Master in Business Administration (MBA) is a two years degree course in the field of management. In India, MBA degree can be awarded by any recognised university or by a Business School affiliated to any university. Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) is a two years diploma course offered by the institutes that are recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and which are autonomous and not affiliated to any university. I will suggest you to join M.Sc in Clinical research as India have thousands of Pharma companies where they need M.Sc clinical reps. Management is not a good option. I think because of big flow of students for it.Top companies like

Dear Mansi,
CA is itself a highly decorative profession. You can easily seek a job into an MNC. However, if you still are interested in further upgrading yourself than you can go for MBA with specialisation into finance. It will give you a very good exposure into the management branch. This would be a synergistic combination for you.

You are advised to clear your backlogs after putting sufficient effort. You are further advised to concentrate in your remaining engineering studies and do very well. If you are able to achieve good final score, any recruiter will condone your gap year. You may go for higher studies like M.Tech or MBA to cover the gap year because your selection will be based on PG score.
