Hi, If you complete your HM and then go for MBA then it would be an additional qualification and will be a value addition to your career. But if you are planning to give a skip to HM and planning to go for MBA , then , in my opinion it's not an ideal choice.
Regards,
Gomti

Tejashree. You got confused because Indian Maritime institute accepts students who were in the EML(extended merit list) of IIT JEE exams. It doesn't mean you have to crack JEE. It simply means you can get admission in Indian Maritime Institue easily is you are in EML. That's all.

jiit jee does not directly get you into Merchant Navy. That only helps you to get into a institute which offers courses like Marine engineering or Nautical science which in turn help you get into Merchant navy. You might have to qualify for UPSC exam to get into navy(Govt). Merchant Navy is a good career option but also a stringent job. Make sure you are up for it if you really want to do it. I heard TS chanakya MERI college in mumbai offers courses in this field .

Hi Deepak, yes you can continue your studies in Australia also if you fail in 1 or 2 subjects. But this is in the hands of the University. If you performance is consistently poor then they might ask you to resit for the entire year. Faculties abroad are very strict about student's performance and do not take it for granted.
If you like this answer then kindly mark it as the best answer or rate it thumbs up. Please feel free to post queries if you have any.
