The teaching staff at LPU is good. But as your state rank being good enough we would suggest you to participate in the state counseling of your respective state and try some other state counsellings too which have All India Quota Reserved seats for out state candidates like Rajasthan Technical University Kota, Haryana state counseling society.
May be you get a better college in terms of placements than LPU, though it's still an average choice and not much bad to be studying therein.

Dear Sushma, JNTU is a technical university and doesn't offer psychology course in distance mode, you can do it from University of Madras, Tirupati University and Andhra University

Dear rajesh, EEnadu has a school of journalism and communication. The courses offered are both in regular and in correspondence. Jst chk with them. I think even AU has MSJ BUT YOU CANNOT DO TWO COURSES AT THE SAME TIME EVEN IF THEY ARE FRM DIFF. UNIVERSITIES.

For most of the top notch engineering collegs in India, it's not possible to change the college in between engineering years. Though you can leave the present college altogether and start a new degree from a different college but also that will waste your first year that you studied at your present college.
e suggest you to focus more on the studies in whichever colege you are presently in. Because even the placements depend on one's own talent and ability to perform at the crucial times.
So if u deserve, you will excel in your career. Even IITs don't have 100% placement records for any single batch yet. And they are the pioneer
