The JEMAT written test will be of objective type consisting of four sections of 3 hour durations ( 10 a.m. to 1 p.m ) as detailed below: 1. Section I - English: 70 Marks 2. Section II - General Knowledge: 30 Marks 3. Section III - Elementary Maths: 60 Marks 4. Section IV - Logical Resoning: 40 Marks.
The weightage of different components of the Test is as follows: 1. Written Test --- 200 marks (80%) 2. Group Discussion (GD) --- 25 marks (10%) 3. Personal Interview (PI) --- 25 marks (10%)

Hi Sumesh,
As in India there are thousands of University/ Institutes giving several degree programs by different names it would be difficult draw a comparison between degrees provided by two different Institutes. However, there not many Institutes/ Universities in India providing such degrees. Moreover as ISBM is not recognized by any of the Indian Education Council, What value does this degree will hold in the Indian Job Market would be really a big question mark?
I would like to add here that a doctorate done through a full time Institution will always have a better standing in the Job market than a correspondence program.

1) SAT is not essential but recommended to take.
2) There is no right time to apply. However, you should apply latest by 1st march. If you apply after 1st march, your application will most likely be automatically rejected.

B.Ed should be done through NCTE approved institute , from wheresoever you have done B.Ed you can apply for jobs anywhere in India. But with 48% of marks in graduation it will be difficult for getting admission in B.Ed as minimum marks criteria for admission in B.Ed is 50% in most of universities

Great Lakes Institute of Management Studies is one of the decent Institutes giving Management Programs and has been ranked 16th at par with JBIMS and MICA by CNN-IBN Survey. Acording to this year Statistics the average GMAT score has gone as high as 690. So, according to the facts mentioned above it seems difficult that you would get a call with 480 score.
However, you should not loose hope. I would also suggest you that if you are keen on doing an MBA degree from a good B-School not only appear for GMAT but for other competitive Examinations as well , as this will give a backup to fall upon.
