It should always be your choice.
As far as job opportunities are considered B.Tech would have an upper hand if done from a reputed institute like IIT, NIT, Lovely professional University, SRM university etc.But if you would like to go for Higher studies and you don't want to pursue engineering you can choose B.Sc. . It will be a time consuming process then.

If possible, then buy the guide book by Arihant publications. Solve as much test papers as possible. Cracking the entrance test is not that tough, and yes 1 month of serious dedication is enough for the exam. Study 2-3 hours every day of a week for the month, that's enough. Best of luck for NCHMCT JEE.

Hey Shantanu,
Yes definitely one can prepare for Civil services after graduating with B.Tech in Computer Science. For IAS examinations you should be a graduate in any field and they are the gone days when students used to take arts for preparing IAS. You should better select a course in which you can perform better. Also select a university which offers quality education as this will be very useful for your examinations. Also if you go with B.Tech CSE than you will have alternate jobs while preparing for the exams.

Both are equally good. But its said that IIMP is better for MBA whereas ISBS for its PGDM courses. However placement is centralized for all campus of Indira group of institutes. So it wouldnt really matter when it cones to placements as you will chance to sit for all the companies irrespective of the campus to which you belong. I hope that helps.

Read up your B.Tech basics. Prepare at least one subject to the best of your ability as the professors may ask you, "What subject have you prepared?" so, then, give them the prepared subject and be happy.
Other than that, being updated with the current happenings around the world would be of immense advantage to you. Good luck!

Dear Saibal
Rural management students may get appropriate employment opportunities in government's developmental agencies and non-government organizations (NGOs). They can also be hired on contractual basis to manage developmental schemes and programs. However, corporate run developmental agencies are the most favored destinations for some rural managers. Highly talented individuals can find lucrative job options in the UN and its specialized agencies or programmes run by it. International NGOs are also preferred options for many rural managers.
