HI,You are make career in IAS or civil service field.You are know that Civil service have much better service,but it get a difficulty,so i m about of few main point of UPSC or IAS Exam.AS is Indian Administrative services is the administrative civil service of the Government of india.IAS officers play large role in bureau of both the Central Government and the states Governments.The civil services examination is used for recruitment for many Indian administrative bodies.It has four stages:-a)Choosing optional,b)Collection Materials,c)Preparation and and d)outcome.(A)Choosing Optional:This is a first and important stages in the approach.Surely,the wrong optional that is not suited for you will lead to failure ,so choose the right optional that is fit for you.For sure success,this step is very important.(B)Collection of Material:After choosing your optional,the next stage is collecting the materials both for your optional and also for general studies.Materials mean's suggested books,notes,important cutting from newspaper,magazines etc.(c)Preparation:This is the third stages and very important stages in the approach/stages.In this stages,you are going to prepare yourself for the exam using your materials.Self study is needed and als

First of all, you have excellent scores specifically your CGPA. It is rare to have a 9.6 CGPA which enhances your chances of getting into the best and i mean THE BEST.
I read your comments that you have posted in the other answer posted and i would like to clarify those points first:
1) It is not true that people with scores above 1450 do not get admission in top universities. People with GRE scores like 1250 have also made it to top universities. Admission is always given on the basis of the whole profile of the applicant and not GRE.
2) You have done a very good thing by joining a NGO as universities abroad give alot of preference to community service. However, what you do in the NGO also matters. Taking care of the finances or funding the NGO or any activity which does not involve your personal effort to do something good will not be counted. You have to involve yourself personally like teaching children, etc(i hope you understand i am trying to explain what personal effort is). Even if you give 4-6 hours per week on community service, it is more than enough but it has to be stable for a long period.

Hi Hina,
Since you are interested in IAS, i would like to say that their are two stages that you need to clear- preliminary exam and main exam. In order to prepare for IAS the minimum requirement is graduation from a recognized university and the age group is 21-30yrs and there is no restriction the only thing that is necessary is graduation. For your preparation i would suggest you to first join a good coaching center so that you have the relevant study material to start your preparation. Now lets come to the most important part that is self study which is very essential as IAS or UPSC exams are not that easy to crack and to crack the exam you really have to prioritize your time. For self study you can start with reading newspapers and books related to current affairs and Gk, if you want you can refer to Manorama Year book which is one good book for GK and current affairs. At the beggining of the preparation opt for a good coaching centre like Rau's in Delhi. Since you are in job it is understood that you won't be able to join their 4 months course. If possible join it for 4 months. Find out if they hav opened a branch in Chennai. If not then procure the study material and keep giving mock tests for evaluating your studies. You need to read a lot of books pertaining to your subject. Also improve your knowledge of the current affairs. Read the newspaper "The Hindu" regularly. Mark you the information of importance. Try to keep the important cuttings of them. And above all develop faith in your abilities and have confidence.

In UK, you need IELTS exam to pass which is English exam so it won't be issue for you to clear with atleast 6.5 bands. What is your graduation marks? What is your current position in job? HI,Every company or firm or organization say that only any person(his/her) have full knowledgeable and experience of which is like course or field(MCA,MBA,B.tech etc).Main point that person doing any course but university or college have recognized by AICTE or UGC.Now see company are required that any person(his/her) have full knowledge or prefect command in any language or doing specialization in language.Because It's all support that your make better career and secure in any company.you are have much knowledge then company are like and take better to better package time to time.Company are also see that this person is much for further,then thing of company person are better for our company,then this person are growth stages in company that mean's you are get better package i any company.Totally have every thing is depend on your knowledge or experience.
