I will be frank with my opinion and I hope you take it in right spirit. It appears that you are quite laid back on decision making and probably your parents are not able to guide to you to the right direction. In fact, at the end of 11th class you should have started the preparation of JEE. Now since it is quite late, that option is over. If you are finding Physics and Chemistry hard, preparation for IAS will be hundred times harder. It is basically about attitude to resolve problem with focused hard work and not to run away. Even if you take a break for one year to prepare for JEE and succeed in taking admission in a good engineering

Dear Trupti, JBIMS students get hostel facilities in the hostels of University of Mumbai, but these hostel accommodations are limited to Outside Mumbai students and to students from outside the home university area. JBIMS does not allot hostels to those residing in and around Mumbai. JBIMS has a hostel for girls in its Kalina campus in the western suburbs of Mumbai.

Hi Venkata,
according to the general trend, a percentile of 99% will get you a shortlist from FMS. After that the Extempore and PI rounds will decide your seat in FMS. The campus life in FMS is unique in its own way. though we do not have a full fledged campus, due to a very limited in take of students, sense of unity is very strong among our students.

Hi Suraj,
According to most of the CAs, you should give both groups. You have lot of advantages by opting such an option. In order to pass IPCC you should get 350 marks out of 700; 200 from first group and 150 from second group. If you are giving both groups you have an option of carry forward so that if you get 240 marks in first group and 110 in second group then that extra 40 marks from first group will carried to your second group marks and in the end you will clear IPCC.
