If u wish u start working somewhere and do MCA simultaneously with ur working from IGNOU.
Before starting career in software industry i would like to ask u r u very much confidant on any of the programming language. Can u independently handle any language? If ur ans comes yes then only think for software development line or testing line. Every line is good only depends upon u how much depth knowledge u have. As far as salary is concerned It depends upon u how tactfully and technically u have cleared ur interview not upon the degree or certificate u have with u. If ur ans goes to no for programming then some other line as well for ur career. Being a Electronic engineer u can choose embedded system line as well for this u must have sound knowledge of C, C++ and JAVA (complete). If u want u can make plan in Networking line as well. Network Admin, Security Admin, System Admin for this u must have to opt RHCE+CCNA+MCITP+RHCVA & RHCSS as well. As you have completed your undergraduate course in IT, it will be advisable to pursue MS in IT or related fields, as it it will add on to your knowledge of what all you have learned during your BE.
In order to pursue MS in Canada, you need to have:
Good academic background throughout, preferably 60% plus in Graduation.
Relevant undergraduate degree from Recognized university.
GRE score of 1100-1200 plus.
TOEFL score of 80-90 plus,OR
IELTS score 6-7 bands plus.
Universities in Canada have 2 admission intakes i.e. Fall (August) and Spring (January) Intake. So first of all you need to decide in which intake you want admission, and then accordingly start your application process at least 6-7 months in advance, it is always advisable to take GRE and TOEFL at least a year in advance of your planned admission intake. An average tuition fee of a Canadian university is about CAN$ 30,000 per-year. The tuition fee and living expenses might be more depending on the university and location.
