The career opportunities in all these fields are wide and huge in demand both in India and abroad.
Optometrists can work as post-secondary teachers, occupational/industrial safety programs, consultants in the eye care industry or do research in optometry colleges. Optometrists can also set up their own private clinics and work independently. They can also choose a career in sports vision, public health and government service or community health centers.
Ophthalmologist may choose to set himself up in private practice, as a solo practitioner or as part of a medical group. As an Ophthalmologist, you can work as a public health employee, professor in the medical universities, military doctor, & as an employee of a clinic, hospital and government agencies.

For JEE main, NCERT will be really useful. Other than that, try:
1. HC Verma for physics
2. RD Sharma for maths
3. P Bahadur for physical chemistry
4. NCERT will do for organic and inorganic chemistry (along with some coaching modules if you can get them somehow)
5. This is really important: Do not forget to do previous year papers and some sample papers based on current format and syllabus. It helps a lot. Really.
It will be a really daunting task to finish off your preparation in 5 months alone because if you haven't had the motivation to start preparing till now, then it is going to be so tough, trust me.
Now let's plan your schedule so that you can finish all of the above in time (if you can finish all of the above books easily and master them, and also get a 90%+ score in board exams, then you, my friend are a stud. If DTU or BITS is your dream college (assuming you are from Delhi), then nothing will be able to stop you from getting an admission there).

To get a good rank in JEE and make to the IIT, you need to have a strategic planning that suits the present format of selection. The present format demands an all-round performance as it considers your Board Examination, JEE Mains and Advanced. Here are certain points that would help you. Never neglect the N. C. E. R. T. books
The N. C. E. R. T. books are written by some of the best brains of India and these books are quite precise and concise. Your preparation must start with N. C. E. R. T. books. Read these books thoroughly and solve all the back exercises. Also try the example problems for further practice of objective questions. Remember that reading and understanding the N. C. E. R. T. books are not the same thing.

After +2, a student is eligible to take the foundation course. Examination can be taken twice a year, in June and December.
Candidates who pass the Foundation examination are eligible to seek registration as students to the Company Secretaryship Course.
The course completes after a preliminary, intermediate and final examination.
Final examination can be taken after 18 months of enrolling in the course and having undergone satisfactory postal or oral tuition for the particular group of final examination.
Enrollment is open throughout the year. For appearing in the June examination, enrollment is up to September and for appearing in December examination, enrollment is completed by March.
Practical experience ranging from two to three years or Management Training for 15 months and four months practical training in a company which is arranged by the Institute is also required.
After qualifying for the final examination and undergoing practical training, a candidate is eligible to be admitted as an Associate Member.
Senior Associate members may be entitled to become Fellows.
Admission is open to anyone who has passed the graduate examination of a university in India or any other equivalent qualification or those who have taken the foundation examination.

M.Sc. (Mathematics): Eligibility
The eligibility criteria for this course in colleges like Christ University-Bangalore, St. Stephen's College-New Delhi, Loyola College-Chennai, Mount Carmel College-Bangalore is graduation in any discipline with Mathematics and English as a main subjects with minimum 50% aggregate however institutes prefer students with a B.Sc. /B.E. /B.Tech degree.
M.Sc. (Mathematics): Admission
Usually the admission process starts in the month of March/April where the colleges announce the notification and application forms both online and offline.
Direct Admission
Few universities takes admission in M.Sc. courses through merit basis as well as through entrance test, like Delhi University reserves 50% of its seats for merit basis admissions.
Entrance Exam:
Colleges like Loyola College, Chennai, IIT Kanpur, IIT Delhi conducts entrance test for taking admissions into the course. Students selected through entrance test would further have to go through personal interview before final selection.

Lateral Entry in M.Sc. in Mathematics
Various Universities provides lateral entry into the course but has an eligibility criteria of having a graduation degree with mathematics as main subject.
