Which college is better amongst LPU, Thapar and SRM for B.Tech in computer science engineering?

LPU is best for B.Tech. CSE. The university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of students. Around 550+ companies visit every year for campus-recruitment of students from LPU. LPU is an axis for Joint campus placement drives. Some of the reputed companies that visits LPU for placements for B.Tech. Are - Amazon, CTS, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Amdocs, Capgemini, Verizon, SAP Labs, Bosch, Samsung, Voltas, Lava, Vodafone and many more. The top 110 companies that recruit IIT students also recruit LPU students.

Hi Krishna, I would keep LPU and Thapar at the top here, with LPU having a little edge in terms of placements and overall infrastructure. In last 15 years as university LPU's track record has been impeccable, probably that's the reason why it attracts talented students from all over India as well as 70 other nationalities. Moreover I feel both the universities work on different modus operandi! LPU's pedagogy is more of experiential learning, which takes it to another level. Wish you all the best. Rohita.

Hi, LPU is the best private university. 100% Placement offer (Dream company/good package/ 23 offer from different company) Good coding skills in basic programming like c, c+, Java and advanced programming like android studio, phython in machine learning, web development programming. Etc. Learning the latest technology and concepts like Big data, Hadoop, cloud computing, cyber security, android apps, drone, roboticists Entrepreneur (do not interest in placement) Participation/winning certificate of sports/extra- curricular (one world, one India, youth vibe)/co-curricular/ coding events like hackathon, code chef. (Depends upon your interest, involvement and participation level) SAP/Oracle certification Depends upon your interest you can develop project and participate in mega event like project expo) Research oriented skills (paper writing, new ideas sharing, getting patent (project ), participating in seminar/conference). Show case your talent (music, dance, painting,. Etc. ). (More than 1000 events). Good internship and trained from different internal faculty members and guest lecture from outside.

Always go for institute that along with good education provides high placement record. As far as these colleges are concern, I have read a lot about Lovely Professional University-its ranking, assured placements, recognition, tie-ups, infrastructure, scholarships etc. If I would have been at your place, I would have opted this one only. This university is having tie-ups with more than 50+countries providing you an excellent exposure helping you achieving excellence in your discipline. I have heard that Lovely Professional University provides the scholarship upto 1.5 Lacs per annum. Whereas THAPAR is lacking in giving these type of offer. LPU has more exposure to the practical approach than SRM, thus I suggest going for LPU instead of going to SRM or Thapar.

LPU is providing Placement for all the eligible students. One of my friends is passed out from here in 2016, now he is working with an MNC as a state head of their sales. Their last year placement also good, the highest package was 21 LPA. Rankings and Accreditation. LPU is ranked 19th in India's Leading Top 50 B-Schools by India Business Journal. LPU would be better choice, as it has been ranked as one of the best universities for quality education. They give you ample opportunities for placements to students and that is the reason it is the first choice of both national and international students who are looking for private universities. Faculty is also knowledgeable and helping. Fee is affordable. Moreover, you get scholarship if you get good score. They have exchange programme too through which you complete your course in some foreign university.
