As per my knowledge and experience, I must say that B.Tech CSE programme is offered by numerous universities across the country but only few offer this with unique curriculum and placements. As per my experience, I must say that LPU provides great academic exposure to its students. It provides a chance to the students to attend guest lectures or workshops, so that they get to learn as much as they can. LPU is far way ahead with any other institute in many parameters such as rankings, exposure and placements. The university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of our students. Let me highlight what I have out figured: LPU adopts new technologies faster than anyone, they update their curriculum even after each semester by taking feedback from the students and also to meet the latest standards. LPU focuses on practical knowledge a lot, they have high tech labs and dedicated MAC lab for iOS development, each core subject has a different practical subject for it. Also in today generation knowledge and education is not only based on textbooks but also on the outside world, thinking out of the box and overall learning that's why LPU offers their students to participate in a lot of activities and events, the environment of LPU is very good and the academics tasks of LPU are so well planned that even in a course like Engineering you'll be able to manage time for exploring other things. Preference to any university depends on many factors like infrastructure, placements and faculty members. Being an alumnus I can assure you that LPU is a great place to study. I has many friend from CSE dept. And they were very satisfied with the learning atmosphere there. CSE dept. Of LPU is having the highest number of students under a single dept. Being an alumni of LPU I had many friends from CSE and I used to SEE them wearing formal dress almost every day because their placement drives would happen every day in their final year. Most of the students get offers in their third year itself. The placement record of CSE from LPU is phenomenal. Every year LPU breaks its own record in terms of placements. Student from LPU got placed in Microsoft at a package of 42 LPA and many giants like Amazon, Interview bit have offered packages of around 26LPA to LPU students from CSE. VMWARE, Jugnoo, Pegasystems have offered packages of 9LPA to students, many other companies like Wipro, Capgemini, Bosch have offered packages of 6 LPA and the list is endless. The CSE dept. Of LPU has various tie-ups with Google, Pega, VMWARE, AUTOMATION ANYWHERE, INFORMATICA, COMPUTING TECHNOLOGY INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION (CompTIA). The university has sate of the art labs with the latest software to provide hands on practical exposure to students. I recommend LPU because the companies which visit the college. The tieups university has are huge. The student base is large and I won't say there will be 100% placement but there is a lot scope for you to get placed into good companies. Even Thapar is also good. You can SEE its NIRF ranking is 29.

This university has given the medium package of Rs. 4.41 Lacs per annum and total fee is Rs. 9.60 Lacs. In my view point LPU is best as compare to other universities. Here I am discussing some points abouts it. In LPU, there are 30000+ youth are studying for future bright. LPU is consider best in order to get placements. In this university, 90% Students obtain placement drives. For security purposes, LPU Is really best as in every place camera is placed. If any negative activity happens in that case college take the action and put UMC on students or faculty. LPU provide best infra- structure, co-operative faculty, library, Food, sports, residential facilities. Various companies come and offer prestigious salaries to students that will benefits the students. Maximum package of LPU is get by CSE students. Every year many companies visit to recruit students such as, DELL, MICROSOFT, GOOGLE, INTEL, AMAZON, FLIP KART etc. Recently, student get placement of 64 LPA salary package in LPU from B.Tech CSE Thank you.
