Which college is better amongst LPU, Thapar and SRM for B.Tech in computer science engineering?

Hi Krishna, The study of CSE in LPU is very good. CSE is one of the branches in LPU having wonderful placements. Most of our students get placed in reputed companies with few opting for higher studies. Special inputs in the form of placement classes are given to students to hone their skills and prepare them for placements. Certainly, LPU is the best engineering college in Punjab for CSE. Lately, number of admissions in CSE department have been increased rapidly and has become one of the popular courses among engineering aspirants. It focuses on the basic elements of computer programming and networking.

LPU provides a lot of opportunities to each and every one of the eligible students to secure good placement. University prepares its students for placements through special inputs in the form of placement classes from the first year onward, it may be soft-skills, GD, presentations, extempores, technical interviews and personal interviews. To make students get placed in their dream companies. Placements and internships opportunities offered by the university placement department (Division of Career Services, DCS) ensure that students get hands-on experience in working in the industry. My friend studied in Lovely professional University and got placed in Amazon, So I heard many times about LPU from my friend and according to him: To enable the students LPU keeps pace with changing technological advances, the university has industrial tie-ups with various industries. Studying these courses as a part of the curriculum that provides wild card entry to the industry. Some of the industrial tie-ups include Google, SAP, Cisco, Bosch, Dell EMC, VMware, PEGA Systems, Intel and Microsoft. LPU provides instil knowledge in the major areas of computer science and engineering such as artificial intelligence, networking, databases, data analytics, web development, and cloud computing.

In terms of faculty, placements, infrastructure and reputation in the field of education, LPU is better than Thapar and SRM-Chennai. So, go for LPU.

Hello Krishna Lovely Professional University-its ranking, assured placements, recognition, tie-ups, infrastructure, scholarships etc. If I would have been at your place, I would have opted this one only. This university is having a tie-ups with more than 50+countries providing you an excellent exposure helping you achieving excellence in your discipline. I have heard that Lovely Professional University provides the scholarship upto 1.5 Lacs per annum. Dear Students, Good education is very important for all of us. It is the process of achieving knowledge, values, skills, beliefs, and moral habits. Bachelor of Technology (computer Science)-B.Tech CS is of 4 year and 8 semester programme. If we talking about the institute, LPU, Thapar and SRM all institutes are doing good at their places. But if talk about B.Tech CSE, LPU has more scope. Placement is the most important factor which is considered while choosing a college or university *According to my knowledge, LPU is good platform for B.Tech CS. LPU sets the record of the highest Engineering Placements in North India for Three consecutive years. LPU alumni can be found in most top global brands like Apple, Google, Yahoo, Microsoft, Bank of America etc. with packages of over 1 crore. Lovely Professional University has collaborated with Google for providing Android specialisation training to its engineering students within the campus. *If I am not wrong, admission for the session 2020-21 has already begun through online mode and in order to avail maximum scholarship benefit you need to take admission before 30th of April and then apply for LPU NEST.

* Comparing three I. e. LPU, Thapar and SRM is a tough nut. All are doing well in the respective areas and are putting in all possible efforts to provide best possible environment to the students to pursue their career further. But being an Education Consultant, I will try to give my independent opinion to you. * When it comes to the Infrastructure and Resources which includes Classrooms/ Labs/ Software/ State of the art the latest equipments and tools etc. None of these stands amongst LPU because LPU is having the largest single campus university in the country. * Industry Interaction is the area where LPU again is having a clear lead as LPU is having strong ties with corporate world and is providing various inputs like Industry Certifications, MOOCs, Workshops, Guest Lectures, Educational etc. * LPU established varied Industry Supported Labs with the active participation of Industry Giants like Cadence, INTEL, Texas Instruments, National Instruments, BOSCH etc. Other two institutes are lagging in this part as well. * Finally, comparing all three in terms of placement! I believe, in this part we should trust someone who is putting in requisite efforts and doing independent analysis year after year I. e. Aspiring Minds LPU is awarded with National Employability Award 2020 for the 7th time in a row for having Most Employable Students. This shows clear lead of LPU. * As per the University website, Companies like Microsoft, Amazon India, Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions Ltd. Cognizant Technology Solutions, Capgemini India Pvt.
