    Hi
Mainly it depends on your interest. If you are mostly interested in Business you better to choose MBA. And if you are good at mechanical engineering subjects u better choose M.Tech. you can do M.Tech in IIT or NIT through GATE entrance exam. And you can also study in Universities or local colleges through PGECET entrance exam. For MBA, if your interested to study in IIM you have to write CAT exam. And if you are interested to study in local colleges or universities you have to write ICET. Both MBA and M.Tech is beneficial if you have excellent grip on subject. Choosing M.Tech you can work as a professor or you can do a job and you ca

MBA is all about interest in business and entrepreneurship while B.Tech is about connection with technical and PSUs. Also, I would suggest to have some experience before getting into MBA. All the best for your career.

If you are good with the basics of your core subjects and can prepare for higher studies than definitely go for GATE. But, if you are good at aptitude and your communication skills are good then you should go for MBA. Take your decision carefully.

It all depends upon your interest if you want to change your stream then go for MBA. There you will learn altogether different things, its more of management subjects rather technical although there are some subjects which are technical as well. Whereas, in M.Tech, you choose to continue with your same stream but on a higher level.

I've had a really good experience with the mechanical engineering faculty at Chandigarh University. Most of them are PhD holders, so you can tell they know their subject inside out. What I like is that they're not just teaching from books—they share real-world examples, guide us in labs, and help with projects. The faculty is approachable, so if you ever get stuck on something, you can just ask, and they'll explain patiently. They also encourage students to explore electives like Thermal & Energy Engineering, Industrial Manufacturing, or Design & Robotics, and help you pick what suits your career goals.

Yes, Chandigarh University is a good choice for B.E. in Mechanical Engineering. What I really like about the programme is the variety of specializations you can pick, like Thermal & Energy, Industrial Manufacturing & Management, or Automation & Robotics. The labs are another strong point from 3D printing and advanced welding labs to industry-backed centres by Honda, Mahindra, Hyundai, and MG Motors. These collaborations give you hands-on exposure that feels very close to real-world industry work. On top of that, the department is both ABET and NBA accredited, which adds global recognition.
