It depends on where you wish to see yourself after the completion of the course. If you have more of a technology mindedness and feel you can contribute more to the world of technology, then M Tech is for you. New generation courses include M Tech in Nanotechnology, Robotics and so on. If you are desirous of climbing the corporate ladder and believe you can be better at a management level, then MBA may be a good choice.

Both the courses are beneficial for you. But, the fruitfulness of any course ultimately depends on your capability and interest. If you want to achieve a high salaried job then go for MBA. And if you have interest in teaching then go for M.Tech.

MBA no doubts has a large quantity of jobs and major areas for building a fabulous career which can promise them a secured and blushing Future. The Employment Level and Salary packages in MBA is definitely having a upper hand over M.Tech graduates as MBA Students will start with a trademark salary of around 80 K to 1 lack bucks per month which is a huge amount in Indian currency where as in US $ they will be earning around 1000$ per Week. Whereas, when we came to M.Tech we too have a good salary Slips per compared to MBA PG course graduate this amount lacks a bit as average staring salary for a M.Tech post graduate students is around 5

Look for your interest. If you are interested in technical more then go for M.Tech and if you are interested in Managerial jobs go for MBA. On the other side, the packages offer to MBA is generally more than M.Tech from top institutes. MBA in Operations is most suitable if you are interested in both technical and managerial jobs.

It depends on your interest and patience. If you want to go in the business line, then do MBA but if you really want to study your subjects till the very extreme level, then do M.Tech.

I've had a really good experience with the mechanical engineering faculty at Chandigarh University. Most of them are PhD holders, so you can tell they know their subject inside out. What I like is that they're not just teaching from books—they share real-world examples, guide us in labs, and help with projects. The faculty is approachable, so if you ever get stuck on something, you can just ask, and they'll explain patiently. They also encourage students to explore electives like Thermal & Energy Engineering, Industrial Manufacturing, or Design & Robotics, and help you pick what suits your career goals.

Yes, Chandigarh University is a good choice for B.E. in Mechanical Engineering. What I really like about the programme is the variety of specializations you can pick, like Thermal & Energy, Industrial Manufacturing & Management, or Automation & Robotics. The labs are another strong point from 3D printing and advanced welding labs to industry-backed centres by Honda, Mahindra, Hyundai, and MG Motors. These collaborations give you hands-on exposure that feels very close to real-world industry work. On top of that, the department is both ABET and NBA accredited, which adds global recognition. With regular industrial visits, workshops, and
