I would suggest you to go for M.Tech. It is related to your Bachelors degree. You can gain better knowledge with a Masters degree. You can go for industries and teaching in colleges and universities.

Both are good. It all depends on your interest. At present time, most of the engineers are doing MBA after the successful completion of B.Tech. Since you belong to the mechanical background, M.Tech is also a very good choice. After the completion of M.Tech, you have a chance to get a job in PSUs and others places as well.

Actually, after doing B.Tech, if you want to continue in your core branch and want to get more knowledge of your branch and you want to further go on for doing research, then you can go for doing M.Tech and Ph.D afterwords. But, if you want to go in the field of business administration, then you should go for doing an MBA. Both are beneficial, but choose according to your interest and liking's. Some great Institutions that offer these courses are:-
    BITS Pilani
    Delhi College of Engineering
    PSG Technology Coimbatore
    National Institute of Engineering, Mysore
    BIT Ranchi.
