MBA is about business management, M.Tech is more about in-depth knowledge of what subjects you had studied in B.Tech, so according to your interest you should choose one. One more thing is that the most MBA colleges charge 20+lacs (including hostel) while, M.Tech colleges charge around 10 lac for 2 years and you are most likely to get a better salary after MBA than in M.Tech.

My advice will be to go for GATE instead of M.Tech or MBA. Get a job with a good PSU. Just take a year gap and prepare hard. If you cannot get a good job. Then join M.Tech programbased on GATE score.

First and foremost, you have to understand that there is no point comparing M.Tech and MBA courses. Both are specialised degrees and have value in their respective grounds. Both M.Tech and MBA provide excellent career options and have gained importance over the time. M.Tech or MBA is always an additional advantage to an engineer whether it is in terms of experience, knowledge or seniority. Whether it be an IT, manufacturing, or R&D driven establishment, there would be requirements for both M. Techs and MBAs. The M. Techs would be more of a subject matter specialist, whereas the MBAs would handle product sales and marketing, project man

For several B.Tech graduates planning to pursue higher education, it is primarily a choice between Master of business administration (MBA) and Master of technology (M.Tech) programmes. While both qualifications offer good placements and a stable career, the decision should be a well-calculated one. While an MBA prepares you for generalist roles and opens your avenues in non-technical industries, an M.Tech qualification offers you plush jobs and a freedom to take your love for technology to the next level. An M.Tech degree offers opportunities in the academia, research & development and technical fields. On the other hand, an MBA opens

If you are confused between MBA or M.Tech, the best way to decide is highlighting your career goals and interests. If you want to study a business degree after completing B.Tech, the MBA is the right choice and if you aim to specialise in a certain Engineering specialisation, then M.Tech after B.Tech is the best choice.

Hello Kandarp, Many B.Tech graduates have this confusion in choosing a Masters degree between M.Tech, MBA and MS Well, as you're asking about benefits, both M.Tech and MBA have almost equal value in job market. The salaries you can get from these obviously depends upon your skills and work experience. As every industry needs a MBA graduate, I can say that MBA might have a slight upper hand over M.Tech when it comes to salary. Irrespective of these, I would suggest that you must choose one of them based on your preferable job domain, if you like to get into Management jobs which is non technical then you should opt for MBA. But if you l

Dear Karndeep, M.Tech or MBA is an ever-lasting debate that has been toiling with the minds of the young generation for years. This is a typical yet handy decision that every student needs to make right after completion of the Bachelor's degree. With regard to career transition or skill-sets, both these courses help you tread in two different directions. While M.Tech takes you into a whole new pathway to explore the boundaries of engineering, MBA takes to towards the journey of business & management. When selected wisely, both these academic choices will lead you in a success-packed direction. I have many friends who have done M.Tech a

MBA is a better option to join. MBAs are great for a career change and thriving business opportunities. Graduates of part-time or full-time MBA programs have higher chances of holding a high-level management position and enjoying successful MBA careers. Over 50% of MBA graduates worldwide are senior managers or board directors. I did my MBA at LPU and it has helped me grow professionally and also add a lot to my career growth. Being an alumnus of LPU I would prefer LPU as it provides exposure to various opportunities in terms of internships, workshops, guest lectures, industrial visits, placements, etc. Highlights of MBA at LPU are - 1

I've had a really good experience with the mechanical engineering faculty at Chandigarh University. Most of them are PhD holders, so you can tell they know their subject inside out. What I like is that they're not just teaching from books—they share real-world examples, guide us in labs, and help with projects. The faculty is approachable, so if you ever get stuck on something, you can just ask, and they'll explain patiently. They also encourage students to explore electives like Thermal & Energy Engineering, Industrial Manufacturing, or Design & Robotics, and help you pick what suits your career goals.

Yes, Chandigarh University is a good choice for B.E. in Mechanical Engineering. What I really like about the programme is the variety of specializations you can pick, like Thermal & Energy, Industrial Manufacturing & Management, or Automation & Robotics. The labs are another strong point from 3D printing and advanced welding labs to industry-backed centres by Honda, Mahindra, Hyundai, and MG Motors. These collaborations give you hands-on exposure that feels very close to real-world industry work. On top of that, the department is both ABET and NBA accredited, which adds global recognition. With regular industrial visits, workshops, and
