  • Dear Vidhaan,
CSE is one of the branches in LPU having wonderful placements. Most of our students get placed in reputed companies with few opting for higher studies.
Special inputs in the form of placement classes are given to students to hone their skills and prepare them for placements. Students also go for on-job training (OJT) where they are paid a stipend too.
CSE has highly qualified faculty from IITs, IIITs, NITs, etc. High-tech MAC labs have been set up for the benefit of students.

    Hello,
As per my views, LPU is more better than SRM for CSE because LPU is one of the most reputed college in India and having a position against IITs. Also the infrastructure, teaching methodology, placements and overall development of students are upto the mark. But if you don't get LPU then you can go for SRM. Thank you and please do upvote my answer.

Both are well known universities of India with modern infrastructure and facilities. Even placements are worth mentioning. But, I would prefer LPU over other for few reasons.
The very first reason is LPU has single campus, so the management concentrates on making it the best. Whereas, SRM has more than one campus due to which, how so ever hard they try, still one or the campus is affected. The curriculum of LPU is in sync with the industry. Placements, especially for CSE are really very good with companies like Google, Amazon, Microsoft, etc., visiting the campus regularly for recruitment. Not only this, but also the university gives re

If we talk about CSE right know both of them have tough competition, but the edge is that LPU gives you best infrastructure for CSE, it is up to you, if you want to explore it. You get the guidance, teaching from experienced teachers. Visitors from different companies share their ideas. The corporate sector is looking for creative, connected CSE students, LPU gives you option to groom and learn.

LPU is a good university. It has been ranked as one of the best universities by various agencies for quality education. They give ample opportunities for placements to students and that is the reason it is the first choice of both national and international students who are looking for private universities. Faculty is also knowledgeable and helping.

Hi there,

Yes, LPU conducted LPUNEST entrance test for its various programmes. However, it depends upon in which stream you want to take admission. For many UG/PG programmes such as btech, B.Sc agriculture, law, management etc. test is mandatory for both admission and scholarship purpose. For some other courses such as computer application, BBA, hotel management, Bsc IT,   commerce,   arts etc. test is only for scholarship purpose .

I hope this helps,

Thank you.

Both Chandigarh University (CU) and Lovely Professional University (LPU) are known for engineering, but if we think of Electrical Engineering, LPU appears better in many ways. As a student, I personally feel that LPU has a very practical approach to learning. Their labs are state of the art, and well-resourced, and I find that the faculty usually support us to work on real-time projects, which build confidence to take on challenges in industry. The university brings many industry professionals for guest lecturers, and have affiliations with top companies in the world, so this gives students a greater opportunity for internships and pla
