Well in my opinion, I will recommend Lovely Professional University. LPU is the best private university to go for B.Tech, it is one of the top 5 universities of India, providing quality education, innovative pedagogy and unbeatable placements both national and international. LPU provides a great academic exposure to its students. It provides a chance to the students to attend guest lectures or workshops, so that they get to learn as much as they can. The students also work on live projects, so that they are able to apply their knowledge to practical settings. It is one of the few that has embraced international practices when it comes

SRM is better than LPU. Apart from it, In Punjab and Chandigarh, Indo Global Colleges located near Chandigarh is very good campus for CSE. One of the most reputed college having state of art infrastructure and facilities, strong industry interface with IBM, EC-Council, Cisco, Red Hat, Oracle, IITs, well qualified and experienced faculty etc. Excellent placements of this colleges, ranked 1st by The Times Group on basis of industry interface and placements .

Both the universities are good. If you get admission in one of them, choose your dream college looking for infrastructure, facilities. And, also ask to Senior students about that college.

Hi, Choosing a university is a big decision and a very difficult task, as our career depends upon that. I would highly recommend LPU because of the following reasons. Ranking: LPU has been ranked 78th amongst all government and private universities by NIRF ranking released by MHRD, Government of India. Faculty- The university has the best teachers who are very supportive of the overall growth of the students. They are approachable and easily cater to any doubts that the students might have. Most of them are Ph.D and others are pursuing. Academics- LPU has maintained a great academic record over the years. The workshops and guest lectur

Hi there,

Yes, LPU conducted LPUNEST entrance test for its various programmes. However, it depends upon in which stream you want to take admission. For many UG/PG programmes such as btech, B.Sc agriculture, law, management etc. test is mandatory for both admission and scholarship purpose. For some other courses such as computer application, BBA, hotel management, Bsc IT,   commerce,   arts etc. test is only for scholarship purpose .

I hope this helps,

Thank you.

Both Chandigarh University (CU) and Lovely Professional University (LPU) are known for engineering, but if we think of Electrical Engineering, LPU appears better in many ways. As a student, I personally feel that LPU has a very practical approach to learning. Their labs are state of the art, and well-resourced, and I find that the faculty usually support us to work on real-time projects, which build confidence to take on challenges in industry. The university brings many industry professionals for guest lecturers, and have affiliations with top companies in the world, so this gives students a greater opportunity for internships and pla

Seat allotment during the LPU NEST counselling effectively takes place based on your merit (exam) rank, as well as the preferences you fill to course/specialisations while you log in to the portal for admissions after your results are out. After you log in to the counselling portal after the results go out, you need to honestly fill your choices of course/specialization. LPU will then look for which rank you are in the merit list, check availabilities, and allocate seats accordingly based on your previously chosen course/specialization seats and rank.
