Which is a better university for CSE: SRM, Chennai or Lovely Professional University?
-
Just go for SRM Chennai, it has more exposure to the high tech cities and has a lot of job opportunities with a nice campus.

SRM is better than LPU. Apart from it, In Punjab and Chandigarh, Indo Global Colleges located near Chandigarh is very good campus for CSE. One of the most reputed college having state of art infrastructure and facilities, strong industry interface with IBM, EC-Council, Cisco, Red Hat, Oracle, IITs, well qualified and experienced faculty etc. Excellent placements of this colleges, ranked 1st by The Times Group on basis of industry interface and placements .

If you are seeking admission in an engineering college then I would like to suggest SRM-Chennai as first preference. It is one of the reputed private colleges. It is best in every context whether it is the environment, placement, fest, exposure or anything else. If we compare LPU with SRM then SRM-Chennai is better. Now, it's up to you as you have to clear its entrance exam.
Good luck. -
Hi, Choosing a university is a big decision and a very difficult task, as our career depends upon that. I would highly recommend LPU because of the following reasons. Ranking: LPU has been ranked 78th amongst all government and private universities by NIRF ranking released by MHRD, Government of India. Faculty- The university has the best teachers who are very supportive of the overall growth of the students. They are approachable and easily cater to any doubts that the students might have. Most of them are Ph.D and others are pursuing. Academics- LPU has maintained a great academic record over the years. The workshops and guest lectur...more

Well in my opinion, I will recommend Lovely Professional University. LPU is the best private university to go for B.Tech, it is one of the top 5 universities of India, providing quality education, innovative pedagogy and unbeatable placements both national and international. LPU provides a great academic exposure to its students. It provides a chance to the students to attend guest lectures or workshops, so that they get to learn as much as they can. The students also work on live projects, so that they are able to apply their knowledge to practical settings. It is one of the few that has embraced international practices when it comes...more

Hello Vidhaan, The decision to select a university to study is quite important and tough as well. And I would usually like to avoid the issues of university comparison. But since the question is asked with rectitude and I will write with absolute sincerity as it can influence future of a student. It is a vital step in the career path of a student to choose the right university. To better their chances of having a decent career, many students get a degree. It must be noted that not all universities are good for all the programmes, you have not mentioned the programme you want to take admission in, and so the answer should go to universi...more

When I was looking out for the admissions in B.Tech programs in a college, I came across LPU in my 12th grade only so I registered there and was very sure about it.
MY OWN LPU JOURNEY
FACULTY: Now, after spending almost 10 months studying at LPU virtually, I am hustling up, taking opportunities, and interacting with people. I have come across many learned teachers (almost all are Ph.D. who was very sweet and friendly. Although there isn't just one best course at LPU, the B.Tech CSE and its specializations (AI, ML, and Data Science) are unquestionably some of the best. Practical learning, coding culture, real-world projects, and industry experience are all major components of the course. Hey, so for LPU's end-term exam in Physical Education, you need at least 30% marks in the end-term itself, plus an overall 40% combining continuous assessment and end-term. That's the standard across their PE programs, and they've got a cool holistic review if you hit the aggregate but miss the end-term bit—super fair way to keep things student-friendly. Attendance stays key at 75% min, which makes sense for staying active in sports stuff. LPU really nails this balance, helping folks like us push through without harsh cutoffs, way better for building real fitness skills. No wonder it's a top pick—keeps motivation high and stress lo

Hey guys, so I checked the official LPU site for the BPEd course fee, and for the first year, it's around INR1 Lacs to INR1.09 lakhs, covering tuition at INR50,000 per semester plus exam fees of about INR4,500-INR5,000 each. That's super reasonable for a top-notch programme with awesome sports facilities and scholarships up to 60% if you score well in LPUNEST—like INR96,000 off per semester for high performers. LPU really makes it accessible without compromising quality, way better value than many places I've seen. Total for two years is INR2-2.18 lakhs, but first-year payment is straightforward via UPI or whatever. If you're into ph
