Both are good universities in terms of placement. If you are comfortable with fee, you can go for LPU. Otherwise, SRM-Chennai is the best option for you.

    Hello,
It would be a good choice to opt for LPU as in the present scenario this is the university which caters to the all round development of its students and nurtures it with care to boost the career to a pinnacle of ultimate success which might be the envy of many. Being an Alumni of Lovely Professional University, I can proudly say that choosing LPU as my academic partner was one of my best decision. I have done my Engineering and MBA from LPU. LPU has helped in developing my overall personality and learning for life. Currently I am working with HCL and its been around 4 years I am associated with HCL and I am very much thankful to

We shouldn't compare the two, instead both universities are good. But as a student of LPU, I would like to say that LPU is the best because LPU is one of the best private universities in India. The ranking, the location, the education, the infrastructure and the diversity make this university unique. Ranking: - LPU comes down the top 100 of all private and public universities. What shocked me the most this dear year was the most recent ranking of the
universities in the world, again ranking below all public and private universities. Location: - In a beautiful college with 100 students, 90-95 students get an internship. At B.Tech in par

LPU and SRM both are great but difference in Price. I mean, tuition fees. And if you can afford SRM, then go for it. If you have self control then go for LPU. Here, all type of people give you advise about University but they don't know about it. I have both friend from SRM and LPU. Outside of college (LPU) you can get all type of drugs and even prostituted which is district you and SRM is very strict and very expensive. If you are worried about Education quality, then don't worry. All up to you because university teaches you only their syllabus and company demands beyond it.
  • In my opinion it is LPU because if you are a hardworking average student and want to go for immense opportunities and exposures then LPU is the best option, it provides quality education at reasonable cost and unbeatable placements.

Hi there,

Yes, LPU conducted LPUNEST entrance test for its various programmes. However, it depends upon in which stream you want to take admission. For many UG/PG programmes such as btech, B.Sc agriculture, law, management etc. test is mandatory for both admission and scholarship purpose. For some other courses such as computer application, BBA, hotel management, Bsc IT,   commerce,   arts etc. test is only for scholarship purpose .

I hope this helps,

Thank you.

Both Chandigarh University (CU) and Lovely Professional University (LPU) are known for engineering, but if we think of Electrical Engineering, LPU appears better in many ways. As a student, I personally feel that LPU has a very practical approach to learning. Their labs are state of the art, and well-resourced, and I find that the faculty usually support us to work on real-time projects, which build confidence to take on challenges in industry. The university brings many industry professionals for guest lecturers, and have affiliations with top companies in the world, so this gives students a greater opportunity for internships and pla

Seat allotment during the LPU NEST counselling effectively takes place based on your merit (exam) rank, as well as the preferences you fill to course/specialisations while you log in to the portal for admissions after your results are out. After you log in to the counselling portal after the results go out, you need to honestly fill your choices of course/specialization. LPU will then look for which rank you are in the merit list, check availabilities, and allocate seats accordingly based on your previously chosen course/specialization seats and rank. The seat allotment process of counseling purely works on merit, so the students who s
