Which is a better university for CSE: SRM, Chennai or Lovely Professional University?

Based on my years of experience, I would strongly opine that you must go for LPU because of its great placement records, academics, rankings, international exposure, diversity, and so on. LPU has been awarded and ranked by some of the prestigious organizations in India and internationally. According to the recent rankings released by Times higher education impact ranking 2022, Lpu is among the top 74th university on the global scale. These are some facts and figures mentioned below which says LPU is performing excellently in today competitive world. LPU infrastructure is unbeatable with any other private university. Surrounded by lush green Punjab farms, and on campus, there's so much beauty, high-tech labs, a library, a hospital, a mall, food courts, cafe. The curriculum of LPU is very competitive and in sync with industry requirement. The university is having highly qualified faculty from IITs, IIIts, NITs, etc. The placement records of the university speak for themselves as they are really appreciable. Placements and job opportunities in LPU are good and now it is getting better and better. There are loads of companies with LPU has tied up for placement of their students. His seniors have been placed in the reputed companies through on-campus placement. Various major companies take part in recruitment at LPU every year, some as Google, Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Accenture, IBM, Tech Mahindra, Oracle, SNAP deal, Vodafone, Airtel, LG, HCL, and many more. On average, 200 MNCs visit our campus every year, placing around 2000 students every year. Packages vary from 5.30lpa to 30lpa based on the individual skill. The environment at this university is great. Well, when I compare the LPU with other universities them I find it is best as compared to other universities. The quality of education at LPU for CSE branch is amazing. Proper quality study material is provided by the college which is available both online and offline. The faculty members are well renowned in the field and they keep you up to date in terms of syllabus and the latest industry trends too. Being a CSE student, I usually approach them after my classes to get my queries resolved or to discuss any projects or workshops I am a part of and they readily extend the courtesy. The biggest advantage is that we get projects on each and every topic which is industry-oriented and help us to learn about industry the latest trends. As LPU is one of the renowned name so many companies like HCL, Oracle, Adobe keeps on conducting there workshops. The workshops really help us to be industry ready. You can also apply for internships in these companies too. LPU makes sure that by the time placement season kicks in you have exposure in all the relevant section of CSE. Also, The placements in LPU is quite good as Microsoft, Google, Amazon etc. Big companies & other multinational & national companies come for the campus placements. The average package is 13 LPA, however few of our seniors have also landed a package of 64 LPA from GOOGLE company.

Hello dear, LPU has been ranked as 51 by NIRF 21 and 33 by Shiksha Collections 21. This university has provided the highest package of Rs. 3 crores per annum. Some of the main recruiters are Capgemini, Wipro, L &amp; T, DXC Technology and many more. SRM Institute of Science and Technology has been ranked as 24 by NIRF 22 and 3 by TIMES 21. This college provides the highest package of Rs. 1 crore and the topic recruiter is Linkedin. Apart from this, this companies visit the campus such as Amazon, PayPal, Google, IBM, Walmart, Philips, Bank of America, Wipro and many more.

I received my engineering degree from Lovely Professional University, and while I cannot comment on SRM Chennai, I can relate my LPU experience. LPU's engineering programme offers a wonderful balance of academics and pleasure. I recall my days as an engineering student at LPU when I would rush to class at 9 a. m. and work on my homework for hours. Engineering is a combination of theoretical and practical knowledge. LPU develops information in such a way that students find it easy to study. Faculty members are so knowledgeable that they can tell how much we learned in his class. The university provides all of the resources and strategies needed to make studying easy while also preparing students to succeed in the corporate sector. LPU equips you with all of the resources needed to be a competent engineer. I had a fantastic time with the professors, placement mentors, and policemen. I'll go through a few key elements to assist you to acquire a better understanding of LPU.

Lovely professional University is the best engineering college in Punjab for CSE. It focuses on the basic elements of computer programming and networking. I am saying this because I had completed same course from Lovely Professional University, Reviews are pretty good. Well, the study of CSE in LPU is very good. CSE is one of the branches in LPU having wonderful placements. Most of students get placed in reputed companies with few opting for higher studies. Special inputs in the form of placement classes are given to students to hone their skills and prepare them for placements. Professors are easily approachable in the college and are well experienced. They are very supportive of all technicalities. If you did well over there you will definitely get a good job. Recently in the Amazon placement drive, 15-16 students got a package in the range of 11-16 Lacs and it's a good package, Tanya Arora she got 42 LPA from Microsoft. But at the same point, there are some companies who took the students at the package of 3.5-34.5 Lacs.

Well, Both universities are really good but when it comes to analyzing overall on various parameters, I find LPU better. LPU has a very good reputation for providing quality education and placement in B.Tech CSE. Each stream has a dedicated laboratory division with fully functional world-class equipment, no one can beat LPU in the resources they give to their students. The university has uncountable industrial tie-ups with various organizations. Studying these courses as a part of the curriculum that provides the WILD CARD entry to the industry. Some of the industrial Tie-ups include Google, SAP, Cisco, Bosch, Dell EMC, VMware, PEGA Systems, Intel, Microsoft. LPU provides Instill knowledge in the major areas of Computer Science and Engineering such as Artificial Intelligence, Networking, Databases, Data Analytics, Web Development, and Cloud Computing. I am pursuing graduation in Computer Science from Lovely Professional University so I believe I can tell you all the details. Frankly telling you, I was a bit confused when I had to select a university for my graduation and one of my cousins told me about the LPU. I had certain doubts but after visiting LPU first time for counseling, all my doubts were cleared when I have an awesome doubt clearing telephonic conversation with the LPU. LPU has transformed me in many ways in past 2 years and it's not me only, if you ask any student of LPU you will get the same answer. To start with, if I talk about the faculty of LPU, quite young and energetic faculty always ready to help students, listen to the students for any problem, and teach in very innovative ways. The curriculum is always updated as per industry demands. Every student is expected to give presentations through case studies or group discussions. So actually students get more confidence and their analytical ability is developed. For me, it was a very positive point that LPU is very much concerned about attendance and students to need to attend all their classes. As I was a regular student so I enjoyed attending my all classes. If the teacher goes on leave then it was ensured that there will be no loss for the students so there will be makeup class or adjustment classes. As classes are Air-conditioned so we enjoyed it a lot. Teachers are teaching through PowerPoint so sometimes when we were asked to give a presentation so we also made PPTs and now I am an expert in making PPTs. I do not know the deep insights as I have done MBA from LPU but I have done some study for placements in LPU as my cousin had to take admission in B.Tech CSE. So I can share with you the details: the highest salary package availed: 42 lacs per annum (Microsoft) In total more than 800 companies recruited from LPU campus for various disciplines the highest Internship Stipend per month: Rs. 80,000 Leading Industry Giants/MNCs visit LPU every year. I. e. MICROSOFT, GOOGLE, AMAZON, COGNIZANT TECHNOLOGY SOLUTION, HEWLETT PACKARD, VIRTUSA.
