Which is a better university for CSE: SRM, Chennai or Lovely Professional University?

I am pursuing graduation in Computer Science from Lovely Professional University so I believe I can tell you all the details. Frankly telling you, I was a bit confused when I had to select a university for my graduation and one of my cousins told me about the LPU. I had certain doubts but after visiting LPU first time for counseling, all my doubts were cleared when I have an awesome doubt clearing telephonic conversation with the LPU. LPU has transformed me in many ways in past 2 years and it's not me only, if you ask any student of LPU you will get the same answer. To start with, if I talk about the faculty of LPU, quite young and energetic faculty always ready to help students, listen to the students for any problem, and teach in very innovative ways. The curriculum is always updated as per industry demands. Every student is expected to give presentations through case studies or group discussions. So actually students get more confidence and their analytical ability is developed. For me, it was a very positive point that LPU is very much concerned about attendance and students to need to attend all their classes. As I was a regular student so I enjoyed attending my all classes. If the teacher goes on leave then it was ensured that there will be no loss for the students so there will be makeup class or adjustment classes. As classes are Air-conditioned so we enjoyed it a lot. Teachers are teaching through PowerPoint so sometimes when we were asked to give a presentation so we also made PPTs and now I am an expert in making PPTs. All thanks to my teachers and Lovely Professional University.

Well if you ask me I would say there is no point comparing because both LPU and SRM University has their own story of glory and limitations. On one side where SRM University is famous for many branches. LPU is a younger a shining star in the ranking of Best Private University of India. Good Placements. In LPU there is immense amount of exposure as well as academic-industry interactions happening throughout the year. This polishes the potential ability of the students to develop according to the industry needs. The university also maintain a serene teacher student ration along with it the university pertains a thorough mentorship model that builds a stronger and effective working model. Such baby steps definitely give it to a bigger scope and arena. LPU has set new bench marks in Placements which is one of the most promising part of a good university today. LPU strongly believes in the fact that learning doesn't happen only by books equal amount of external exposure is much needed for the holistic development of one self. In order to nurture such approach the university conducts multiple live project, floor job trainings and runs specialised curriculum that builds insightful understanding of concept and its applicability. Some of the industrial Tie-ups include Google, SAP, Cisco, Bosch, Dell EMC, VMware, PEGA Systems, Intel, Microsoft, and many tech giants enforcing the students to adapt to the technology advances. LPUs curriculum also imbibes rigorous training and internships along with live projects to make their scholars a ready fit for the industry. The efforts put in this direction makes all the students place-able and earns record placement each year.

Hello dear, Both the universities are good. If you get admission in one of them, choose your dream college looking for infrastructure, facilities. And, also ask to Senior students about that college.

Both are the same, but are located in different part of country. If you are comparing faculty, placement and other factors, then SRM Main campus is better than LPU.

If you are seeking admission in an engineering college, then I would like to suggest SRM-Chennai as first preference. It is one of the reputed private colleges. It is best in every context whether it is the environment, placement, fest, exposure or anything else. If we compare LPU with SRM then SRM-Chennai is better. Now, it's up to you as you have to clear its entrance exam. Good luck.

Both the universities are private and are well reputed with many facilities so I think you can take admission in any of the colleges. SRM is more popular than LPU.

SRM Chennai is a better university as compared to LPU because of its good placements and great faculty. LPU, on the other hand, has better infrastructure than SRM.
