Which is a better university for CSE: SRM, Chennai or Lovely Professional University?

Lovely professional University is the best engineering college in Punjab for CSE. It focuses on the basic elements of computer programming and networking. I am saying this because I had completed same course from Lovely Professional University, Reviews are pretty good. Well, the study of CSE in LPU is very good. CSE is one of the branches in LPU having wonderful placements. Most of students get placed in reputed companies with few opting for higher studies. Special inputs in the form of placement classes are given to students to hone their skills and prepare them for placements. Professors are easily approachable in the college and are well experienced. They are very supportive of all technicalities. If you did well over there you will definitely get a good job. Recently in the Amazon placement drive, 15-16 students got a package in the range of 11-16 Lacs and it's a good package, Tanya Arora she got 42 LPA from Microsoft. But at the same point, there are some companies who took the students at the package of 3.5-34.5 Lacs.

There is no doubt SRM is good for CSE but LPU is best, Being alumni I would say LPU provides the quality of education, placement is really amazing, and it also provides the scholarship. LPU provides very good scholarships to bright students with good academic records, sports, or extracurricular activities achievement. LPU also helps students with the Education loan facility. All professors and staff are well qualified from IITs, NITs, IIM, and top-ranked universities all over the world. As per NIRF ranking 2021, LPU is 12th in Architecture, 24th in Law and 23rd in Pharmacy, 37th in Business Management, 66th in Engineering, and 62nd in Universities across India. LPU has also been ranked amongst the Top 200 universities of the world as per the prestigious Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2021. As far as the placement is concerned LPU received an Employability award by Aspiring Mind in 2020 for the best placement Institute in India. Hello dear, LPU has been ranked as 51 by NIRF 21 and 33 by Shiksha Collections 21. This university has provided the highest package of Rs. 3 crores per annum. Some of the main recruiters are Capgemini, Wipro, L & T, DXC Technology and many more. SRM Institute of Science and Technology has been ranked as 24 by NIRF 22 and 3 by TIMES 21. This college provides the highest package of Rs. 1 crore and the topic recruiter is Linkedin. Apart from this, this companies visit the campus such as Amazon, PayPal, Google, IBM, Walmart, Philips, Bank of America, Wipro and many more.

Well, when I compare the LPU with other universities them I find it is best as compared to other universities. The quality of education at LPU for CSE branch is amazing. Proper quality study material is provided by the college which is available both online and offline. The faculty members are well renowned in the field and they keep you up to date in terms of syllabus and the latest industry trends too. Being a CSE student, I usually approach them after my classes to get my queries resolved or to discuss any projects or workshops I am a part of and they readily extend the courtesy. The biggest advantage is that we get projects on each and every topic which is industry-oriented and help us to learn about industry the latest trends. As LPU is one of the renowned name so many companies like HCL, Oracle, Adobe keeps on conducting there workshops. The workshops really help us to be industry ready. You can also apply for internships in these companies too. LPU makes sure that by the time placement season kicks in you have exposure in all the relevant section of CSE. Also, The placements in LPU is quite good as Microsoft, Google, Amazon etc. Big companies & other multinational & national companies come for the campus placements. The average package is 13 LPA, however few of our seniors have also landed a package of 64 LPA from GOOGLE company.
