Which is better for B.Tech in CSE: LPU or JECRC?
I have got 85% marks in 12th Board.

In my opinion, JECRC university is better option, Because we all are looking for good placement as well as good faculty also, In both prospects, JECRC university is better!

Apart from LPU or JECRC, other good performing colleges are also there in northern India. I recently visited the campus of Indo Global Colleges near Chandigarh which is one of the finest & excellent college of CSE in terms of ranking, reputation, the oldest, affiliation, best learning environment, state of the art infrastructure with well-equipped labs, workshops, digital classrooms equipment and tools etc. , beautiful surroundings, strong industry exposure & tie-ups, well qualified and experienced faculty & top placements. This college has tie-up with all leading academic and industrial top companies I. e IIT bombay, IIT Delhi and Che...more

Hello Ashish, Selecting the right engineering college is a big decision, both for you and your family. It is these four years that will help decide what you will do in life. It is best to make this decision when you are in senior school, and not at the last moment. There is no 'right' college as such, but there may be colleges that are 'right' for you. And as you have specifically asked about B.Tech CSE in LPU then I would tell you substantial points which will help you to decide:
In LPU, B.Tech CSE is an Engineering programme which seamlessly articulates the concepts from basic Science to technology with relevant practice through lab a...more -
Hello, The decision to select a university to study is quite important and tough as well. And I would usually like to avoid the issues of university comparison. But since the question is asked with rectitude and I will write with absolute sincerity as it can influence future of a student. It is a vital step in the career path of a student to choose the right university. To better their chances of having a decent career, many students get a degree. It must be noted that not all universities are good for all the programmes, you have not mentioned the programme you want to take admission in, and so the answer should go to universities in...more

7 years agoJECRC is better as it has a limited number of students in branches while in LPU, there are more than sufficient students for each branch. When it comes to placement, if there are less students, then definitely you have an edge. JECRC is a duplicate smart copy of Lovely when it comes to infrastructure. -
Being an alumni of LPU, B.Tech. CSE course with advanced specialisation must be pursued from LPU only. LPU always designed the pedagogy of the courses based on Industry standard only. Based on same students are getting Industry ready from Day 1. Just for example I would like to mention the upgradation / augmentation introduced by LPU in their B.Tech. CSE (Hons. ). Programme. As per my understanding based on the recent market trends, B.Tech. CSE (Hons. ). Students will definitely get more priority at the time of placement by prospective employers. Its because B.Tech. CSE (Hons. ). Is more upgraded & Technology oriented course which is d...more

Hey, so for LPU's end-term exam in Physical Education, you need at least 30% marks in the end-term itself, plus an overall 40% combining continuous assessment and end-term. That's the standard across their PE programs, and they've got a cool holistic review if you hit the aggregate but miss the end-term bit—super fair way to keep things student-friendly. Attendance stays key at 75% min, which makes sense for staying active in sports stuff. LPU really nails this balance, helping folks like us push through without harsh cutoffs, way better for building real fitness skills. No wonder it's a top pick—keeps motivation high and stress lo
The Physical Efficiency Test (LPUPET) of LPU for the 2025 admissions into PE/sports programs was conducted in several schedules, with the latest being on August 26, 2025 (Schedule VI). For the year 2026, tentative dates start on April 16, running until August, in 6 phases. Please check the website for updates.
Hey guys, so I checked the official LPU site for the BPEd course fee, and for the first year, it's around INR1 Lacs to INR1.09 lakhs, covering tuition at INR50,000 per semester plus exam fees of about INR4,500-INR5,000 each. That's super reasonable for a top-notch programme with awesome sports facilities and scholarships up to 60% if you score well in LPUNEST—like INR96,000 off per semester for high performers. LPU really makes it accessible without compromising quality, way better value than many places I've seen. Total for two years is INR2-2.18 lakhs, but first-year payment is straightforward via UPI or whatever. If you're into ph
Hey, so from what I've checked on LPU's official site, the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) for sports programs like B.P.Ed is totally offline. It's this practical fitness check with stuff like a 50m sprint, standing broad jump, medicine ball throw (3kg for guys, 2kg for girls), and a 1000m run/walk—all done on campus with invigilators watching to keep it fair.
No online version here since it's hands-on physical activities, and you gotta bring your own sports kit or they won't let you in. LPU runs it in multiple schedules based on registrations, super flexible for everyone. Honestly, it's cool how they make it real-world ready witho
Hey, so the LPU Physical Efficiency Test (PET) isn't some super long drag—it's more like a quick fitness check that usually wraps up in 20 to 45 minutes, depending on how fit you are. You've got to nail a 50m sprint, standing broad jump, overhead medicine ball throw (3kg for guys, 2kg for gals), and a 1000m run/walk, all in one go with up to two tries. No fixed "hours" timer since it's practical stuff, not a marathon sit-down exam. LPU keeps it real and fair, testing real stamina for sports courses like B.P.Ed—super helpful to see if you're ready without wasting your day. Bring your own kit or you're out, but slots are flexible
