Which is better for B.Tech in CSE: LPU or JECRC?

Hello Dear! Being an Alumni of LPU I am not having any notion for JECRC but yes I can share the particulars of LPU as I have studied over there. Many of our friends have completed their CSE at LPU and got placed in eminent institutions. I believe for CSE, LPU would be the best option. Let me share with you some of the details as well as highlights : 1. Good Placements:Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft in 2020. 2. Accreditation : Every year, more than 30,000 students graduate from LPU across all disciplines. Accredited by most technical bodies such as UGC, NCTE, PCI, IAP, COA, BCI, and AIU, LPU has covered massive ground since being founded back in 2005. Already amongst the top private colleges students keep on their checklist, the potential for LPU to grow further seems apparent. 3. Faculty: LPU composed of the best faculty members from IIM, IITs and the other best B schools. 4. Upgraded Approach: LPU is highly upgraded in its parameters as it includes paperless attendance, online assignments, submission etc. We can also raise our grievances online itself 5. Tie Ups: B tech in CSE has tied up with upgrade which helps to explore in better manner I hope this would work!Scholarships: There are numerous scholarships which are available in this university. I am pursuing B.Tech in CSE at LPU so I can give you some points to make the picture clear to you. Before LPU I also search about all the colleges but I found LPU is providing more quality education, innovative method and great placements in all over national as IITs and NITs. It provides a chance to the students to attend guest lectures or workshops, so that they get to learn as much as they can. LPU gives a great academic exposure to its students. The students likewise work on live projects, so that they are able to apply their knowledge to practical settings.

LPU is undoubtedly better among the two. The placements here in CSE is just great considering the fact that almost 600 companies now visit the campus for recruitment. Also, the campus life, infrastructure and exposure that you would get at LPU, you won't find the same at JECRC.

Hello, The decision to select a university to study is quite important and tough as well. And I would usually like to avoid the issues of university comparison. But since the question is asked with rectitude and I will write with absolute sincerity as it can influence future of a student. It is a vital step in the career path of a student to choose the right university. To better their chances of having a decent career, many students get a degree. It must be noted that not all universities are good for all the programmes, you have not mentioned the programme you want to take admission in, and so the answer should go to universities in general. I think studying in a private university provides so many opportunities to a student. They are more diligent and offer priority to the management of time. LPU is better because: 1. THE ADMISSION PROCESS:- I always saw the lack of opportunities in my district and wanted to do some things but they were not in my vicinity. Then, I came to know about LPU through a representative of LPU who interacted with us in a session. I noticed that the process of admission in LPU is so convenient and smooth as compared to other universities. Other universities can shatter the confidence of a student by vigorous and cumbersome counseling sessions (with no flexibilities) which make the student lose confidence and increase the stress on them. 2. FEES & SCHOLARSHIPS:-I have seen other colleges/universities asking for a hefty amount for an even lesser quality of education. The scholarships provided by LPU are very generous and the same goes for the fees in LPU. So, I got myself a scholarship of 40% which was the maximum scholarship possible in the B.Tech CSE (Hons. ). Programme. The merit-based scholarships in B.Tech programs specifically stay the same for the whole duration of the course I. e. 4 years 3. Well, its hard to compare these institutions, but each one of them is best in their own way. I don't know about JECRC but I would like to share my own experience at LPU. I am not an engineering student but a bit connected to it. I was pursuing Masters degree in mathematics back in year 2018 and stayed in LPU-hostel. My room-mate was a B.Tech CSE student and best to my experience she was fully compatible with everything. Initially she was a bit nervous but after a short span of time she evolved so well. About academics, she used to be very inspired and motivated. Besides that, other things related to academics like workshops are often conducted that help students to learn beyond the line. She was an average student up-to 10+2 but after joining LPU, in the first semester she had to work hard to score good, but then she got used to and finally I SEE this year she has reached the CGPA count of 9. I think this is the best example I could quote to answer your query. LPU has a brilliant faculty, mostly from IITs and NITs. It has also got tie-ups with almost 200 international universities in 50 countries. Thus students are also benefited by giving International exposure, where in the Credit Transfer is one of the brightest for Engineering courses, in which students get the degree from abroad. Moreover, LPU provides engineering in different ways ranging from Dual-courses to Integrated. Not only this, it offers well and good scholarships to students. Besides that, LPU is one of the remarkable institutions when it comes to placements. Its students are placed in the largest companies like Amazon, Microsoft, etc. All over the world.

Without any bias towards any particular college, I will offer you my own perspective. It depends on your end goals or objectives. Most of the Engineering Colleges in India don't focus much on developing the overall personality of the student. Anyways Your decision making should not be on the basis of placements, packages but on quality of students ( your peer group), faculty, infrastructure, curriculum, and the alumni network. My brother has completed B.Tech CSE from Lovely Professional University and currently he is working in Amazon with the highest package. So through him I come to know about University and few other things which I would like to discuss:- LPU is the best engineering college in Punjab for CSE. Lately, number of admissions in CSE department have been increased rapidly and has become one of the popular courses among engineering aspirants. It focuses on the basic elements of computer programming and networking. Professors are easily approachable in the college and are well experienced. They are very supportive of all technicalities. Students can contact them anytime for their study purpose. The latest teaching methods are used in the classroom. The placements on the campus is good enough. It is the best university in the North of India to give the best packages in B.Tech (CSE). During the time of my brother induction, I have seen a few students who got placed in the companies with a package of 42 LPA. The university placement drive undoubtedly works hard for the students to get placed. Just before Final Year of your course, a special team called School of Professional Enhancement will prepare students for upcoming placements and you won't get a day off from placements, every day a company comes to campus. Its just up to you how well you can do and never lose Patience you will get placed, you just have to prepare well for that. The university has tie-ups Oracle to train us better and with huge companies for placements like Google, Microsoft, Capgemini, Amazon, JOSH technology group, Tech Mahindra, TCS and others who visit every year offering attractive packages to students. The average package is around 3.5lakhs - 4.5lakhs p. a. The deserving ones are also seen ceasing the opportunity by getting placed with a whopping package of 20-25 LPA.
