Eligibility Criteria for taking admission is Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10th, subject to qualifying entrance exam. Some institutes give direct admission to students on the basis of their marks in 10th. You can do it from : DTU, PTU, UPTU, LPU

You must specify your category, and the exam you gave. If it is JEE, and you fall under general category, then yes, you will easily get some pursue. And, even for other category, with that rank you would get mechanical.

It is better to choose engineering if you are expert in mathematics and physics. If your English is too good, but you are weak in physics and maths then opt for B.Com, BBA or BA.

Well, Bihar is not known for engineering colleges rather than IIT, NIT and BITS-Patna. However, if your inclined to take admission in Bihar only then according to your marks, NSIT-Bihta is the best option for you.
