I am afraid, that there might not be any college out here, which offers you both the above mentioned courses at once. But, not to worry, you can pursue both the courses from different colleges at once. Mainly Journalism courses do not have any attendance issue. So, you have an alternative option available.

You shouldn't go for distance education especially if you're interested in doing B.Tech, instead you can take admission in UTM Shillong. UTM is actually MIT Pune's campus and is best in North East for their Engineering programme.
