B Tech and B.E. both the courses are having the same scope at the time of admission in Masters.As regards the subjects of both courses are concerned they are almost same. AICTE considers both the degrees equivalent. Most of the institutes having good infrastructure,best placements are IIT, Roorkee, College of Engineering Pune, Lovely Professional university.

Dear there is no chance to get into any NIT. it would be rather difficult to get a good government college too. You can try good private universities on the basis of your percentage like in Lovely Professional University, amrita, VIt etc.

For Lecturer it is compulsory that u mast have cleared the NET exam in the subject of ur post graduation. But as in the case of Sushila vs. University Grants Commission it was held by supreme court that the persons who have registered or completed P hd up to 2009 they are exempted from NET exam themselves. If u have done masters u can opt for M Phil or P hd.
