It's unfortunate that you have not cleared your 12th and have landed up a compartment.
There are various career options available these days. However, I would recommend that you first do away with your compartment exams as it is very crucial for moving ahead towards acquiring a good course and enhance your studies.
In order to get past a reputed college and a feasible course, ensure that you crack these exams to the best of your capability.
The mantra to success is dedication, commitment and determination. Stay focused and work hard towards goal attainment. You will certainly reap results, remember hard work always pays off. Hi Pratik, You can definitely get a job as a lecturer after your post graduation like an MBA. However, you will need to appear for the UGC-NET exams for lecturership. The eligibility test for lecturers, National Eligibility Test (NET), is conducted by UGC, CSIR or similar tests accredited by the UGC. The State level test SLET is for appointments within the state. The promotion is based on performance, duration of service, and research publications. College lecturers require a good academic record with at least 55% or an equivalent grade at master's degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University. On completion of all these criterias, you can become a lecturer. An MBA in HR is not a very good subject of choice if your carrer goal is becoming a lecturer. It will however limit your opportunities. A subject that is rare will help you, like one of engineering which was your subject in graduation. The choice of course is yours. Sukhbir, I am not sure how good you are with maths and programming. If you are, then you must pick up Programming and take a language whether PHP/ HTML5 (web dev), .Net (for software dev) Java/ Android (for apps) or C#/ Unity (for games). However like i mentioned, you must be good with programming to move ahead in this area since you have to compete with MCAs and BTech(CS) applicants. So choose your internship/ industrial training very carefully. Do not just go for the cheapest to save money. See the IT company's credentials on the net. for example if someone provide LIVE PROJECTS are they there near the TOP on PORTALS like JUSTDIAL? Or if the company is registered with STPI (Software Technology Parks of India) - all good IT companies are registered with STPI. If a company spends money to market themselves to customers, only then they are able to get LIVE PROJECTS. Also, if you are an average programmer, and if you you're better with creative work, then you can head for web design or even vfx/ animation since there is a huge requirement coming up in that domain. There is also an intermediate path in games design and development. If you are good with Drawing and Creative opt for Design (Animation, VFX, Games, Fashion). If you are good with words become a writer (content, news, fiction, ads) or director. If you are good with keeping records go for Accounts or Stats or administration. If you are good with logic go for Law. If you are good at memorizing and love nature go for medical. If you are good with people go for Management. If you are good with nothing become a politican (haha, pun intended - actually you need very good insight into future for this). Wish you the best for your career. While selecting the best, you need to check some of the important parameters such as recognition, year of establishment, batch size, syllabus, faculty, fees, placements etc.
