your course is accountancy based commerce stream . this is very effective course at present. this is demanded more in market . this need lots of practice and attention to get specialized in accountancy . after b com pl prepare more for account based career courses and classes .complete courses as CA or go for account analyst
go for certification of SAP in accounts
pl be in touch with certain professional people to know more

Although the cut off keeps on changing every year, I think this year it would be between 100 to130. For exact information I would suggest you to check with UGC.

Although, 70 percentile in CAT is not a very high score and it would be difficult to get really good B-Schools with these scores but few of the Institutes which you may target: SCM Cochin, IMM, Globsyn, Cosmic, Alliance, ISBM, NL Dalmia, ITM, Christ etc. For more information on CAT related B-Schools and their percentile cut offs, please check the link below:

Vikram, If you are very particular about saving a year. Then you can enroll for your desired course through Open University Mode from Distance Learning Mode through various universities.
But do focus on your pending paper and clear the paper by Supplementary Exams itself with flying colours.

Hi Vinay,
M.Sc in Medical Microbiology is a rare course to get, even though there are a few institutes but then it would be difficult to pull off the course successfully as you have mentioned of your own that you do not remember what was taught at the graduate level. Without a strong base getting into higher education would be quite difficult as well
I would suggest you to re think about this decision, Although it is good to go for higher education but then your basic education holds a lot of relevance in getting you admission and also providing success as well, so think and then go about it.

Frankly speaking personal and monetary growth of a person would largely depend on his own capabilities performance on the programme and how he use the knowledge earned at the time of job interview and after placement. as M.tech is more than sufficient to start once career and computer Science Engineering is on of the booming field, one can have a bright future provided he has the talent to carry forward the degree he has achieved.
