HI Chinmay, you should go by what interests you. Completely agreeing with Nikhlesh Mathur I would recommend the same.
Also, these days there are plenty of jobs in marketing, provided you know to sell well. There are lesser number of jobs comparatively but these are all well paying ones. If I go by your marks it could be difficult for you to pursue MBA in Finance as it is a tough subject. But nothing is difficult if you have interest in the subject.
Your future lies in your hands and how you use your qualification and make good use of the opportunities that come by.

If you are from a reputed college in the category of IIT or NIT or BITS etc then you might get more chances for Interview. If you are from a lesser known college but still fare very nicely in the interview then you chances are quite the same as one has with the name of a reputed college.

The most important thing which you should keep in mind while choosing your courses stream in higher studies is your own choice and career aspirations. Apart from the subjects already mentioned by Nikhleshji ypu can also look at options like Journalism, Research work which can be take up after clearing UGC-CSIR NET in organizations like institute for defense studies and analysis, center for policy research, Indian council of world affairs etc. Also get into further studies in Social work. Getting into Politics can be another good Option, MBA with HR as a specialization can also be considered.

Hi,
If you are looking for best Colleges for MBA I would say that it won't be possible with out clearing Entrance examination as all the good MBA institutes have one or the other Entrance Examination, so I would suggest you to start preparing for various Entrance examination like CAT, XAT, MAT etc.
The eligibility to sit for these Entrance Examinations is a graduate degree with 50% and above aggregate marks from a recognized University. The higher you score in Entrance the better your chances are to get through a good B-School. Apart from Entrance you also need to clear GD & PI conducted by various Institutes.

Hi,
The bulletins for most of the Exams mentioned by you for this session is yet to be announced, hence you might have to wait and keep a check over the websites and the newspapers for a prompt update.
As for the CAT, it usually takes place in the last quarter of the year and for which the details are out in the most of August, hence you may expect some concrete information within a few days.
MAT takes place multiple time during one year, the next is supposedly to take place in September 2011, the paper based test will take place on 4th September 2011.

M.A English is a a specialized education and if you are opting to pursue the same, it is better that to be from a similar education stream at your graduate level.
