COEP is better any day, not just for a particular branch but as a college itself. It has a rich history, some exceptional alumni from both Mechanical and Instrumentation departments and frankly the brand speaks for itself. Mechanical department was very recently renovated, so you are going to GET state-of-the-art facilities there. Along with that comes the added bonus of good placements with good packages. Oh and a fun fact, our Mechanical department is 104 years old!

Firstly you need to register for NATA exams/JEE paper 2 exams and qualify in it to seek admission to a 5 year B.Arch Degree course, once the course is completed you become an Architect. No, it's quite different. Everything is different be it paper pattern, or studies or syllabus. It is an undergraduate programme and that is higher secondary exam. Moreover, level of toughness depends upon your college.

Both the campuses are good. Both of the campuses have their own reputation in engineering. In terms of placements, NIT Trichy stands a bit above DTU. In terms of infrastructure DTU may stand above NIT Trichy.
