In case, you don't get your desired college, don't settle for something mediocre. Instead of settling down for some mediocre college, it would be better if you try for some good private university. Many reputed private universities are offering B.Tech chemical engineering. They have different criteria for admissions. Some offer admission on the basis of JEE scores, some offer admission on basis of their own tests and some offer admission on the basis of both. Some even offer direct admission on basis of class 12th marks. Some of the universities also offer scholarships on basis of your performance in class 12th or JEE or even during the course. You can check the details of any of the reputed universities like VIT, Lovely, SRM, etc. All these universities have wonderful infrastructure and world-class facilities to offer to students apart from good placements. Both the NIT are good enough and have equal importance. Both the NIT provide good branch and have equally good placement statistics. NIT, Rourkela is one of the best engineering colleges in India. With the best infrastructure and very good placements, it gives many opportunities to the students pursuing engineering in this institute. The college not only welcomes the students to pursue engineering but also offers higher study opportunities. It has an updated curriculum and the best faculty. The college has the best infrastructure and with numerous facilities, it is one of the best colleges not only in East India but also in India. It has a huge campus area and ten hostels. Also, it has four nice restaurants on the campus. Auto facilities are available just in front of the hostels. Very good faculty and nice exposure. Always update the course which is helpful to the students. The course is always updated and the college has well-equipped labs and all kinds of modern technologies. Modern machines and equipment can be found in almost all the branches of engineering in the campus. Each branch of engineering has its own building. This college is one of the very few colleges to give admission in courses like ceramic, mining, and metallurgy. The faculty is very helpful. A proper and systematic way of teaching is done here.
