As for the Symbiosis' PGDIT is concerned, it is a Diploma course and as compared to Masters degree the prospects are less even though the SCDL institute is quite renowned. I would suggest you to opt for the Masters degree courses than the diplomas.

Please always specify the kind of course you want to opt for. If you want to do a Post Graduation level program you can go for M.Tech in Electronics with a specialisation in VLSI or if you want to go for short term course you can opt for VLSI certifications or short term diploma courses in VLSI.
For Masters Level program you can look ate IISC, MS Ramaiah College. Well depending on your interest you may decide to choose which course would be best as a career option for you among - M.Sc (IT) or MBA (IT). If you are satisfied with you education qualification and want to pursue in continuation to the same then a M.Sc (IT) would a good option or opting for a MCA would also be technical inclined course.

Although, there is no set prerequisite to do SAP, generally, it is recommended that you have minimum 1-2 years of technical experience or professional qualification like B.E, B.Tech, MBA, CA or equivalent credentials.

Both the modes of education are entirely different from each other in almost every aspect from the curriculum to its value in the market. Correspondence education does not involves class room interaction where as in a regular course the classroom interaction is at its maximum.
