Distance and correspondence is pretty much the same thing. You may want to give UPES a shot. It's a distance learning course spanning fields from Oil and Gas to Aviation. Inclusive of MBA with lots of specializations. Think about the 1-up you will gain when you pursue your career while studying. It's a great boost to your professional life.

Hi Dr. Vinita,
To pursue IAS you need to qualify the UPSC exam and for this the minimum educational qualification is a Bachelor degree from a recognized University i.e. even Homeopathy is an eligible degree. But if you plan to take Homeopathy as the optional subject to write your UPSC exam, then you need to reconsider as there is no such subject offered by UPSC.
You can also enroll for some coaching in these regards as these institutes shall help you to crack this entrance. To know about these institutes, you may refer to the following link:

Vinod, one of the good alternatives for you is to do your graduation in a stream of your liking and then do Master in Social Welfare (MSW). Your experience with NGO can help you in your education in MSW.

Go for either Jamboree or The Princeton Review. They offer counseling service for almost every course. I am not sure whether they would represent the university but they would definitely offer counseling services for the same.

Hi Bharath,
If you want to do your MBA only from IIMs then you not only need to clear CAT with the High percentage but also need to be strong in every field be it Academics or extracurricular. Apart from this once you get a call from IIMs on the basis of CAT you also need to clear GD & PI. So, you should keep all these factors in mind while planning for your MBA through IIMs. However, there are several good Management Institutes which accept other Entrance Examination or have their own like XLRI, Symbiosis, and Narsee Moonjee etc. So I would suggest that you should appear for these entrances as well so that you have more options in hand

Hi,
55% is fairly on the lower side as per the university's requirement. Please mail the admissions department of the university directly inquiring about the same with them. If they respond back positively i.e. they consider you eligible, then you can go ahead and apply, else look for some other university. You can find the email address of the admissions department on the contact us page of the university.
Hope my answer has solved your query. If it has, kindly mark it as best answer.
