Indian Institute of Logistics is a decent option to go about pursuing a program in Logistics/ SCM, but then it will entirely depend on your preference as well. It is not relevant to compare a degree to a PG diploma as the former will hold better career options but rarer places to study from.

Scope? Nowadays there is competition in each and every field whether it management , IT , commerce etc.Thousands and thousands of people are there in MBA, in IT, in CA etc etc.As far as scope is concerned it is we who has to create scope in any field we are by doing hard work.So i would say that you choose IT() there is no harm in it.I myself being in IT i would like to give you a advice that in IT also you can do a lot of things for example in IT you can do programming like Java, .NET etc and be a software developer, you can do networking in IT and many more.So after entering into the IT sector you decide that in which part of IT you would like to work.Ya one thing before choosing IT also think and do a research on other sectors and then finally go with what you have interest in.

IRS i.e. Indian revenue Services are one of the integral part of the Government services. The exam is conducted by the UPSC and is divided in two parts; one is the CSAT and second is Main Paper.
CSAT: It is an Objective type examination consisting of Two Papers that is common to all candidates from 2011 having special emphasis on testing their aptitude for civil services as well as on general knowledge.
Main Exam.: Those who qualify the CSAT exam are shortlisted for the Main exam. It is a descriptive (essay type) examination. The General Studies, Essay paper, English Paper are common to all candidates and with this a candidate has two optional subjects to choose from the given options and a language paper of his / her choice. After qualifying the test, shortlisted candidates are called for the interviews and then the final selection takes place.
There is no particular way to make a pattern of study, it is individual based, but then one needs to have a strong basics and for CSAT it is said to study what has been taught in class 8th to 12th along with strong general knowledge. Also a minimum graduation is required so to be able write the exam, hence, you need to keep a consistent academic record as well.
