Unfortunately, you can not join merchant navy after B.Tech civil engineering unless you do B.Tech marine engineering or B.Sc nautical science as additional degrees.

Yes, PU is good option for chemical engineering. 70 students out of 90 got good placements last year. UICET department is the second best department after ICT Mumbai in chemical engineering.

Hi Darshita,
There are plenty of professional courses available for you to choose from.
For commerce students, one of the easiest things to do is go for B.Com then M.Com and then maybe PhD or professor.
There's also an option to go for CA, CS, CMA and at times LLB . The mainstay of commerce students for years now.
Taking your financial condition into account, it is suggestive that you go for either CA or CS or CMA as these are one of the best low cost courses available for a commerce student.
Along with that you can opt for B.Com with ignou which has a tie up with all 3 institutions and will give you a low cost graduate degree.

Apart from 60% minimum in maths and overall in 12th, the basis of selection followed by DU is as follows.
Selection will be made on the basis of best four academic subjects including one language, mathematics and two subjects out of Physics, Chemistry and Computer Science / Informatics Practices. The students of other streams: one Language, Mathematics with two Academic Subjects (LIST A) with a deduction of 2%.
What you are asking might be followed by some private or other state universities for that you have to check them individually.

30 Lacs for the entire course is a low budget if you are very good in your studies to check Germany. Other options you could see are Malaysia, UAE, Ireland, Poland, etc.
